ISD WARRIOR WEEKLY REPORT #30
REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Zekk Terrik |
||
FROM THE DESK OF THE COMMODORE
Hey folks. Well, a bit of sad news to announce this report. If you're privy to the Warrior channels in Discord you of course already knew, but I went ahead and emailed my resignation to the TCCS yesterday effective immediately. I'm not really gonna get into the why as it involves some differences of opinion at the high levels that led to me being denied my promotion, and I'll just say that I don't feel like I can work with or communicate effectively with the top anymore, and have now lost the motivation to do it anyway. I asked to be sent to the Reserves. I plan to rejoin the Warrior, probably Sin, as an FM and just be a terminal Colonel for a while but I feel like a little break is in order. So, a bit of speech for the troops. Wow, I can't even imagine the Warrior without me on it. I want to say that I am beyond heartbroken to leave my ship. I didn't make it nearly as long as I wanted; I had every intention of breaking Hav's record as longest WarCOM by a wide margin. I will miss very much the brotherhood that I created with my CMDRs, and the esprit de corps we built on this ship over time. I know for a fact that a win in RtF was a sure thing with all the planning we had been doing. You guys were awesome to me and I appreciate so much the fact that you guys were always willing to go to bat for your ship, for your squadron, and even for me. A little tidbit that I'm wondering if you guys noticed. My entire time on the Warrior I was very careful to never say 'my ship' except in jest, like 'I'll airlock you off my ship.' In all official reports and talking channel, I always wrote 'our ship.' 'Our ship' was the motto I used for my tenure and it always helped me stay focused on you guys. I inherited a real mess when I took over, and I feel like I left the ship better than I found it. But that's due more to you guys than me. Everyone came together to make this ship the best in the fleet. I know during every Imperial Storm battle the other team thought 'Ugh, crap, we have to fight the Warrior again??' So when you think about the Warrior, I don't want you to see it as Zekk's ship. Think of it more like...the ship that Zekk built. One tradition we have in the Warrior leadership is that when you resign, your final official is to email your successor. Presidents in the USA do this for their successors by leaving a note inside the desk in the Oval Office...it's something like that. I will be doing the same for whoever my successor is. I hope you guys treat them as well as you treat me. Good luck guys, go kick ass in RtF!

FLEET COMPETITIONS | ||
Here’s some fleet-wide competitions currently going on:
Every Single Player mission flown earns the pilot a point on the Kill Board and the top three pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top four pilots earn medals. Each mission only counts once for the year, but missions flown in previous years can be reflown for points on the Kill Board (but not additional FCHG points). The Kill Board statistics on the TIE Corps website are final. IS-GW/SW/BW for top 3 monthly, at the end of the year the top 4 pilots win IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. The top pilot at the end of the year also receives the title of SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021. Every week you will be presented with five uniforms. You have to guess to which pilot that uniform belongs to.
+1 point per correct answer.
Score ties are settled by the time it took to solve it (shortest time being best).
Be warned the questions will get progressively more difficult!
