SIGMA SQUADRON SIGNAL SCOOP #9 |
REPORTING OFFICER: Major acetiepilot, Squadron Commander |
SQUADRON COMMANDER'S CORNER |
Welcome pilots to the weekly Sigma Squadron Signal Scoop! First things first, I would like to welcome our newest pilot, SL Exose! I’ve actually submitted paperwork for Exose promotion, it has however been sitting on the higher ups desk for longer than I would like. I am happy to report that it was another great week of activity from the majority of our pilots. Seems like everyone is really enjoying themselves! I want you guys to fly because you want to, not because you have to or feel like you should be. At the end of the day, we are here for our own enjoyment. Speaking of enjoyment, I had a fantastic time on Saturday (Friday for most of ya’ll) flying with a whole bunch of different pilots across several games. I managed to team up with LT’s Spoon and Audis Graves for some Squadrons action, which was an absolute blast! Then I flew some X-WIng vs Tie Fighter with CM Epicedion and LCM JetMech, where we wiped out a few rebel fleets. Then CM Epicedion and myself did some ground pounding, where CPT Frenchie6 was meant to join us, but I am led to believe he passed out somewhere between his PC and the fridge... Our new squadron stickers are currently in transit to my current location. I will collate everybody’s where-abouts and get them sent out once they arrive, for those who wish to receive them. After all the activity of last week, we have made a massive jump towards our goal of 10,000 kills over 3 months. We currently sit at 8,631 kills, dropping our daily required kill tally to 68.45 kills with 20 days left. Fantastic work pilots! I’ll be aiming to set up another Squadrons night this Saturday the 21st at 1600 (4pm). I hope a whole bunch of you can make it. I will endeavour to follow it up a week later with a focus on some of the older Star Wars games. Until then, stay safe. |
