SIGMA SQUADRON SIGNAL SCOOP #8 |
REPORTING OFFICER: Major acetiepilot, Squadron Commander |
SQUADRON COMMANDER'S CORNER |
Welcome pilots to the weekly Sigma Squadron Signal Scoop! Firstly I would like to welcome LT Spoon to Sigma Squadron! The “young” LT wasted no time in earning promotion from SL. I look forward to watching you rise through the ranks of TC! I have to say, I am absolutely stoked about this week's level of activity. I had to spend a fair amount of time at my desk compiling all your flight reports. Combat Gonk nearly blew a fuse with all the caf he had to bring me. Being the start of a new month I had to work through your monthly evaluations. I am very pleased to announce that 6 of our 9 pilots participated enough to garner medals. For you newer pilots, if it has not been explained before each activity you participate in, whether it be an LoC/LoS, a uniform or INPR update, will net you points. In turn, I use those points to “purchase” you a medal. So the more active you are, the better medals you can get! Those medals should be coming down the pipeline shortly. I have ordered some stickers of our new Squadron insignia and uniform patch. I will mail those out to any Sigma pilot who would like some. I will also be sending them out to the designers of the patches. It has been pretty quiet on the Imperial Storm front for the Warrior this week and I for one am a bit glad to have a break. Our Sigma Shootout Season 1 competition was looking like it was in a dire situation earlier this week, with us needing 255+ kills per day to make our target. Thanks to some great ground missions from Epicedion, Frenchie and Audis, coupled with a lot of cockpit time from JetMech we have now reduced our daily kill target to 137.33! Take a look in our Shootout comp news section below to see where you are at! Thanks again all for a great week of Sigma activity. I am looking at setting up a Squadrons night perhaps this Friday or Saturday night so we can all get flying together. Until then, enjoy yourselves. |

CLOSING COMMENTS |
Like I said earlier, I’ll be setting up a squadrons night this weekend. I’ll pin a poll in the Sigma Discord so ya’ll can vote on what night works best for you. Also another reminder that you need to check in with me or the squadron at least ONCE per month to stay active on the books. It’s honestly not that hard. If you feel like Sigma is not the right fit for you, come and tell me, I will try and get you into a Squadron that you feel more at home in. With that being said, I never want to lose a pilot! Thanks all for your time and dedication! A man must not live under the same sky as one who has injured his lord or father. MAJ acetiepilot |
