ISD WARRIOR WEEKLY REPORT #22

REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Zekk Terrik
DATE SUBMITTED: June 7 2021

FROM THE DESK OF THE COMMODORE

Hey everybody! MSEs are done and we're just waiting for the big shots to pass by our medal sheets, some have already come down even now - congratulations to everyone who received one! Otherwise, it has been a fairly quiet week. Attached is the newest RotJ puzzle - and special thanks to CPT Aardvark. With LT WarperJawa leaving us, CPT Aardvark sent me another month's worth of puzzles. Riddles of the Aardvark incoming?? Who allowed an aardvark to fly a TIE, anyway?

Imperial Storm ought to be starting any day now. Please do not forget that I will be visiting family in Texas for the majority of Imperial Storm, and so I won't be participating in this iteration of Imperial Storm other than maybe submitting the odd Legion from my hotel room. The beautiful and talented MAJ Robert Hogan will serve as Team Captain this time, and I will lead you next year! Good luck guys!

I may or may not send out a report next week before I leave depending on how tired I am, but if not, see you soon!

The answer to the bonus question was: Abeloth was born in 100,086 BBY. She was imprisoned in the Maw.

WARRIOR ROSTER
  • The roster currently stands at 44 members as we continue to trim the fat and add some asskicking. Congratulations to COL Pete Mitchell on his very deserved promotion! I look forward to making you a General sometime next year. ;)
  • FLEET NEWS
    • Make sure you catch episode 10 of The TIE Pilot Podcast at this link, where GN Doyon and I host a very successful pop-up episode! Episode 11 soon!
    • Led by COL Mordechi Wolfe of Sin Squadron, we have progressed to Phase II of Project Sovereign. MAJ Genie and COL Silwar have taken the lead in designing the Imperial Armory.
    • TIE Corps in Battle, May assignments are out, see below!
    • Anyone interested in TIE Corps Merch? Make your order here!
    • TTT3 is live here!
    SHIP NEWS
    • I have had a couple of people reach out to me about being long-term interested in a CMDR spot. I want to encourage anyone who's interested, even if you've been a CMDR before, to reach out to me so we can begin the process.
    • What the hell do you even feed an aardvark, anyway?
    SHIP COMPETITIONS

  • Riddles of the Jawa

Like every Jawa, LT WarperJawa of Sin speaks in riddles and virtually impossible to understand Galactic Basic. As a translation tool, he has provided the Commodore with a series of riddles and puzzles to be included in every ISD Warrior report.

Unfortunately, the Commodore is far, far too dumb to figure them out and needs the help of the pilots of Wing II to sort them out.

    ---

Every week, RA Zekk will include a new puzzle designed by LT WarperJawa in the Warrior report. The first pilot of Wing II to return a fully correct puzzle to me will receive 5 points, the second will receive 4 points, and the third will receive 3 points. Every entry after that will receive 1 point. You will also receive 1 point for answering the weekly bonus question correctly, and an IS-CR for every 4 entries regardless of where you placed. These will be determined by the timestamp on the email you send.

Starting this week, you may also spend one point and receive a hint! You may do this as many times as you want, but you will always receive a minimum of 1 point no matter how many points you spend.

Naturally, neither myself nor LT WarperJawa will be participating since we have the answers. ;)

    Current Standings for RotJ

GN Pickled Yoda - 12, earning an IS-SR and IS-CR

    CM SkyShadow - 6, earning an IS-BR and IS-CR

LCM Kazraran - 11 points, earning an IS-SR

CPT Aardvark - 9 points, earning an IS-CR

LCM Rachel Drakon - 6 points

This week's bonus question: Name all of Revan's companions when he went on his (second) quest for the Star Forge.

  • FLEET COMPETITIONS

Here’s some fleet-wide competitions currently going on:

  • TIE Corps In Battle - May Assignments

  • TIE Fighter - TIE TC 168 Project Omega

X Wing vs TIE Fighter - XvT TC 81 Saving Anna Darksaber

X Wing Alliance - XWA TC 39 Wing IX: Encryption Error

  • SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021

  • Every Single Player mission flown earns the pilot a point on the Kill Board and the top three pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top four pilots earn medals.

Each mission only counts once for the year, but missions flown in previous years can be reflown for points on the Kill Board (but not additional FCHG points). The Kill Board statistics on the TIE Corps website are final. IS-GW/SW/BW for top 3 monthly, at the end of the year the top 4 pilots win IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. The top pilot at the end of the year also receives the title of SP Ace of the TIE Corps 2021.

  • May COO Objective Scramble: May The Force Be With YOu

  • Pilots, There will be a rotating COO Objective each month for a chosen platform and goal. This month is based on teamwork as well as capital ship damage!

Objective: Form a team of four or five. This is your team for the entire month and pilots cannot be paired with pilots who are already paired in a team. E-mail your team to tc-combat-ops-office@googlegroups.com once made. Submit your post-game winning scoreboard from Star Wars Squadrons in Fleet Battles (PvP Ranked) or Fleet Battles (PvE Unranked) via e-mail at tc-combat-ops-office@googlegroups.com between June 1, 2021 (0:00 GMT) and June 30, 2021 (23:59 GMT). The COO and COOAs will have access to these submissions and place them in an online tally.

The team that has the most victories at the end of this month will have their members win the IS-GW, second place the IS-SW and third place the IS-BW. If we have a tie between teams, the tie breaker will be decided by the COO team calculating the total capital ship damage done by each team with their submissions, highest number wins.

To encourage further participation, each winning pilot per month will be given a rating of 3 points at maximum, scalable to 2 or 1 if less than 3 pilots participate a month. The top three pilots at the end of the year will attain the annual awards.

  • COO's Star Wars Challenge Episode VII - 2021

  • Pilots,

Welcome to the 2021 refresh of the COO's Star Wars Challenge.

Platforms Involved: X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, Squadrons.

Objective: Accumulate the most missions in a Star Wars branded approved multiplayer platform. You may submit PvP battles (Legion of Combat) or PvE battles (Legion of Skirmish). You have from 00:00 GMT on the first day of the month to begin and your submissions must be approved by the Combat Operations Office no later than 23:59 GMT on the last day of the month.

At the end of the month the totals will be tallied for each pilot's LoC and LoS scores and totaled into a sum. The top three scoring pilots will receive the respectively monthly reward based on ranking.

There will also be an ongoing annual ranking so you are encouraged to continue participation. The top pilot will be given 3 points for that month towards that ranking, reduced to 2 or 1 if there are less than 3 pilots participating each month. At the end of the year, the top three pilots overall will receive the annual awards.
