ISD WARRIOR WEEKLY REPORT #16

REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Zekk Terrik
DATE SUBMITTED: April 26 2021

FROM THE DESK OF THE COMMODORE

Hello everyone! So let me start out this report by saying that I'm aware I made some pretty dumb errors and mistakes in the last report. My bad. To be completely honest with you, I remember being tired as hell and not really wanting to write it when I did, so I was kinda blowing through it. I will be more vigilant in the future. Thanks to MAJ Hermann for pointing it out.

The Imperial Achievement Ribbon is live now, with a whole slew of them coming down to Warrior pilots. I hope I can get one soon. Hint hint, Plif. ;)

We are continuing to make great progress in Remob, with Sin and Theta now at 11 tasks or more and Kappa and Rho gaining fast.

I am going to try to go get a new episode of TTPP done soon. I've admittedly just been lazy, but we'll make it happen.

Congratulations to CPT Sparky of Kappa who was named Captain of the M/FRG Phoenix, who will be our active duty liaison with the Reserves!

CPT Sparky of Kappa has also introduced a new competition for Warrior pilots, see below!

WARRIOR ROSTER
  • The roster currently stands at 43 members as we continue to trim the fat and add some leanness. Welcome to SL Jose of Kappa and SL - no wait, LT! - WarperJawa of Sin Squadron. Wintr Kvitravn of Theta was promoted to LT this week. Welcome also to MAJ RedTaz who joined Rho Squadron from the Reserves!
  • FLEET NEWS
    • Make sure you catch episode 7 of The TIE Pilot Podcast at this link, where CM Jack Wynand and I discuss the early history of the EH with SA Maverick. We have migrated ALL episodes of TTPP to the official EH YouTube channel.
    • I am proud to welcome COL Doyon to the crew of The TIE Pilot Podcast. We are currently working on episode 8, where we intend to have LT fr0Zen of Rho on to get a new guy's perspective on the EH! We're tired of interviewing these old farts!
    • Led by COL Mordechi Wolfe of Sin Squadron, we have progressed to Phase II of Project Sovereign. MAJ Genie and COL Silwar have taken the lead in designing the Imperial Armory.
    • TIE Corps in Battle, April assignments are out!
    • Squadron Remob competition has begun and runs until the end of May-ish. Sin and Theta are already done! Nice job guys!
    • The Imperial Achievement Ribbon is now live!
    SHIP NEWS
    • I have had a couple of people reach out to me about being long-term interested in a CMDR spot. I want to encourage anyone who's interested, even if you've been a CMDR before, to reach out to me so we can begin the process.
    SHIP COMPETITIONS

  • Who, Are You?

Great questions! This is a fiction competition to explore your pilot. Where is your pilot from? What experiences have molded them into who they are? What brought them to the TIE Corps? Why do they keep flying for us?

The purpose of this comp is to write fiction that explores some of this stuff beyond just the basics of the INPR. This can be a timeline, a short story, a bio, a wiki page, etc.

Turn fiction into CPT Sparky. Must be 250 words to qualify. Winner will be rewarded to the most original entry.

Don't worry about grammar and punctuation - the purpose isn't to quiz your written english. Just have fun!

  • April COO Objective Scramble: Bonk The Gonk

  • Pilots, There will be a rotating COO Objective each month for a chosen platform and goal. This month is based upon AI Kills in Fleet Battles.

Objective: Submit your best game scoreboard screenshots from Fleet Battles (Ranked) with the most AI Kills via e-mail at tc-combat-ops-office@googlegroups.com between April 1, 2021 (0:00 GMT) and April 30, 2021 (23:59 GMT). The COO and COOAs will have access to these submissions and place them in an online tally. At the end of the month, the top three pilots will be determined and be given awards.

In the case of a tie score, the determining factor is game score. This does not require meeting LoC standards for victory to participate. To encourage further participation, each winning pilot per month will be given a rating of 3 points at maximum, scalable to 2 or 1 if less than 3 pilots participate a month. The top three pilots at the end of the year will attain the annual awards.

At the end of the month the totals will be tallied for each pilot's LoC and LoS scores and totaled into a sum. The top three scoring pilots will receive the respectively monthly reward based on ranking.

There will also be an ongoing annual ranking so you are encouraged to continue participation.
