| INTRODUCTION |
'Come and get it Rebel scum!' A low snarl was audible throughout the cockpit of the TIE Defender as the vulpinroid, who flew sans helmet due to the fact that he didn't have to maintain silly things like homeostasis. Bright overcharged lasers and dumb-fire rockets lanced from his craft and peppered an X-Wing until it exploded. With a roll and advancement of the throttle, he switched to another target, the motion honed and trained well enough to be uncannily automatic. Y-Wings, X-Wings, A-Wings, U-Wings and B-Wings were dropping like flies around him. He brought his Defender towards the last X-Wing, recognising the markings. Vectoring to where his Defender was inverted, he overflew the pilot's canopy and took a snapshot with the external cameras of the confused pilot. The engagement made him think of an old song that he recalled. 'Ooh yes, it's good to be the king, ooh-la-la. Gee but it's good to be the king. You can be sure about one thing, ooh-la-la. Mais oui, it's good to be the king.' 'Admiral?' He flickered his eyes, looking at a very confused Fleet Admiral Plif, Vice Admiral Clark, High Admiral Dempsey, Rear Admiral Berkana and Fleet Admiral Silvius. '-Were you just singing in a woman's voice?' The vulpinroid reached down and grabbed his coffee cup, taking a long sip, murmuring. 'It's good to be the king.' --  Ladies and gentlemen, the COO officially has experienced what you might call 'popping off' or 'going ham'. Here's a TIE Defender build for you to try out, folks.  'Ah! I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six rockets or only five? Well to tell you the truth in all of this excitement I've kinda lost track myself. But being these are onslaught rockets and in your hull condition it will blow the cockpit of your A-Wing clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky? Well do you, Rebel?' All in all year in review, as of this date we've clocked in 9,060 Legions of Combat and 17,779 Legions of Skirmish for a total of 26,839 Legions overall awarded.  |
