NEWS HEADLINES

- RtF is upon us - a whole lot of new and old Hammer pilots - a bunch of RSV transfers - LT promotions - new Epsilon Beta 2 and Lambda 3 FL - another bunch of MSE medals for August - Hammer banner updated

OVERVIEW

The Hammer banner has been updated to reflect all 4 squadrons aboard. As Lambda now has its own squadron patch, I rearanged the squadron patches and added the Lambda patch on the Hammer banner. the result can be seen on the top of this report and on the database. Raise the Flag 2020 is upon us. The first 18 days are done, 3 bonus comps are running, 2 are finished. We're closing in on the Challenge, even though at slow pace. Last report the Challenge had about 2.5x our score. This time the Challenge is just about 1.6x our score. So we're making some progress there. Especially Beta and Lambda are doing what they can to get us back on track. Thanks for your efforts, gents! But Alpha and Epsilon are donating for our cause, too, even though not at the same level as Beta and Lambda are doing. I still see a lot of potential there! We still have about 12 days left to show that we're still there and still fighting for it. Well the best way to help your squadrons and the Hammer is participating in the bonus competitions. With the fiction and first puzzle bonus comp done and the MP bonus comp closing in a few hours, the second Puzzle (finish the Puzzle at https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=29c47eddf12d as fast as possible and send a screen of your fastest time to TCCOM@emperorshammer.org) and the GFX (details at Raise the Flag Bonus Competition #4: Graphics) bonus comp are still life and a good way to earn some bonus points for the squads and ship. Another couple of pilots joined our ranks at the Hammer. SL Crazy Ivan joined Alpha, LT Xye returned from inactivity to Lambda, LT Highlander joined Lambda coming from Inferno. Welcome aboard, gents! But on the sad side we also had a couple of departures to the RSV. LT Shawn Erso, LCM Germ and MAJ Nebular took the shuttle to the Phoenix. I'm crossing fingers that you will find the time to return to us soon, gents! On to some more good news. Four of our new Sub-Lieutenants have earned their promotions to full Lieutenant this week. Congratulations to LT Calvin Phrick, LT Graf D'Jinn, LT Udiim'auw'rokulai and LT Voham Dars. All well deserved promotions! And we have newly assigned Flight Leaders aboard. LT Wildfire takes Beta's Flight 2 and LT Highlander takes Lambda Flight 3. Congratulations on your assignments, gents! Another bunch of medals from the August MShipE for the Hammer have been handed out. Congratulations to LCM EvilGrin and LT Wildfire on their Palpatine Crescents, and to LC Kyle Kroan, MAJ Gustan and LCM Milo Antu on their Imperial Security Medals. Well deserved! I'm sure the remaining Hammer MShipE medals will come soon!
