All disputes will be settled by the TIE Corps Command Staff.

Point System

Single Player

  • 2 points for each TIE Fighter mission flown from the Battle Center
  • 3 points for each X-Wing versus TIE Fighter mission flown from the Battle Center
  • 4 points for each X-Wing Alliance mission flown from the Battle Center
  • 5 points for each X-Wing mission flown from the Battle Center
  • 5 points for every mission high score
  • 5 points x # of missions in the battle for every battle high score

Each battle/free mission in the compendium can be flown only once throughout the month for credit in the competition. Note that battles already flown in previous months of this year are eligible to be re-flown for points in Raise the Flag, however, they will not count towards Ace of the TIE Corps competition awards.

Art

  • 2-10 points will be awarded to each written work submitted with at least 50 words. Each TCCS member will review the work, assign a score of 2-10, and the average will be the final score.

Update: 9/5: For the Writing category, we're changing the point system. Rather than 2-10 points regardless of the length of the work, we're going to give you those points for every 300 words you wrote. For example, a 3000 word piece that we score as a 6 would be worth 60 points. 3000 / 300 = 10, 10 x 6 = 60.

  • 1-10 points will be awarded to each graphic submitted, judged by the TCCS. Each TCCS member will review the work, assign a score of 1-10, and the average will be the final score.

Update: The multiplier is our new way of calculating the final number of RtF points each submission earns. A multiplier of 1 is for pre-existing images or memes, 3 for handmade or photography entries, and 5 for anything that would've taken some time in a graphics application. For example, a handmade drawing that receives an average of 6 from the judges would be multiplied by 3 to be worth 18 points.

  • 1 point for every new Single Player mission or battle review submitted with at least 30 words through the database

Bonus points

Bonus points will be awarded only to the pilot’s ship and squadron, but regular points coming from Bonus comp activities will be awarded to the pilots regularly.

  • From September 1st to 11th, a fiction competition – 200, 150, 100, 50
  • From September 8th to 18th, a Multiplayer competition – 40, 30, 20, 10 for each category plus another 40, 30, 20, 10 for the overall scores
  • From September 15th to 25th, a Graphics competition – 200, 150, 100, 50
  • From September 20th to 30th, a Single Player competition – 200, 150, 100, 50

All other participants in the bonus competitions will have their squadrons and ships awarded 5 points for participation. Bonus competitions details will be released separately.

No points

There will be no points for:

  • Squadron Citations earned. All squadrons and ships must get into the competition with equal conditions, and citations might be easier for one squadron to get than for another
  • FCHG/CR Rank gains points. These rank gains can be more easily achieved by one pilot than by the other, and pilots must enter the competition with equal conditions to award points
  • IWATS/IU Courses taken because of the current EH system not allowing the retaking of tests.
  • Mission Creation because the process takes too long to finish and complete testing in a month-long competition.

IS-PW FA Pickled Yoda With 2928 points over the course of the month, GN Pickled Yoda was the top pilot in RtF 2020 and claimed the title of TCCOM's Wingman! In a hypothetical situation where he'd actually serve as my wingman, he'll probably have destroyed everything with unlimited heavy rockets by the time I'm even in firing range but at least I can pretend that I'll be there to contribute. Maybe he'll leave an escape pod or something for me to shoot at, if I'm lucky. (???) 2020-10-08
