INTRODUCTION
First off, apologies for the time it took to get this out, it's been a rather crazy month full of travel and bed rest. I'd like to first start off by welcoming LT EvilGrin to the Combat Operations Office as one of our newest COOAs. There is one more day before the close of the month, so make sure to get your submissions in! The cutoff will be 11:59 PM GMT tomorrow on Friday, July 31, 2020. I will be posting another report to give the lowdown on monthly competition results. The lists have been reordered based upon totals for each pilot.

155 - COO's Monthly Challenge 2020
  • This Combat Event awards the Distinguished Flying Cross for the pilot who submits a victory screenshot with the highest number of kills and half assists one can get in one round of a Star Conflict match. For this event, assists are counted but only at half weight and result are 'rounded down'. For instance if a pilot has 10 kills and 5 assists, the match would be recorded as 12. Submissions to this competition are made through the database like any other 24/7 LoC submission. While processing LoCs, the COO and COOA keep an eye out for new personal bests and update a shared spreadsheet. When a pilot has won the DFC 3 times in a row, they cannot win it for a fourth month. Their points will be tracked but not counted for the combat event. For their efforts, they will be rewarded with an IS-SW.
156 - TC PvP Shootout - April 2020
  • On every Saturday starting at 6:00 PM Eastern/11:00 PM GMT, a PvP shootout will take place. The COO and COOA are the main points of contact. Voice communication is preferable but not required. Game hosting will be directed through GameRanger or a more suitable system based upon compatability and stability. A DFC will be awarded to the highest scoring pilot. COO guidelines apply in full force (at least three different opponents, EH or non, defeated and a +3 win/loss ratio plus the need of having a minimum of 3 EH players on that game platform). Pilots will be awarded an IS-BW for participating in at least 10 matches.
