-Salute-

Greetings and welcome to the first report of the Theodore administration.

First let me thank AD sarriss on her work as FO and I personally want to thank her for staying on as my Command Attaché...together we should be providing you with the highest level of service and appreciate your patience.

Next I would like to address a couple of things. Those who know me know what to expect, but for the rest of you I want to make it clear that I believe it to me my job to make your EH experience as enjoyable as I can and that I believe communication is the key to happy squadrons, wings, ships, BGs, and Task Forces. If you communicate your desires to your immediate superiors and they communicate their expectations, all will be run more smoothly.

To this I will repeat requirements set forth by then FO Kessler, transfers, squad openings, and other squadron administration will require communication at the lowest levels before they are brought to the Flight Office. Any change which effects more than one squad will require the CMDR of each Squad and their WCs to be a part of the communication. A copy of the finalization of the communication can then be sent to the Flight Office for processing. E-mail change requests must include the original e-mail from the pilot/commander.

Rather than detail EVERY requirement, remember that I expect you to be naval officers figure it out....if people other than yourself will be impacted, communicate with the appropriate personnel and I will be friendly to your request. The more you all do for yourselves the more effectively the Flight Office can serve everyone.

Also, I know there has been much discussion regarding training and how the Fleet treats cadets. I will communicate privately with all trainees to encourage them, but I expect you to help prepare them for active duty. If you ask to include them in competitions, I will approve appropriate leave time for them. If you wish to include them in routine squadron activities, I expect you to make the case for their interest. Basically, I am saying that just because they are on the Daedalus does not mean that you cannot include them in the fun of the Fleet. But the promotion of events will be up to you. I will devote my time to counselling and encouraging the completion of training, you have the opportunity to tell them why they want to finish it and move into active duty.

As for the Fleet, I will briefly say that numbers are up across the board. Daedalus have many new recruits and all corners of the Fleet have seen increases in numbers.

As other issues arise, I will let you know.

For now remember ...have fun and act like an officer
