ISDII WARRIOR REPORT #4 | |||
REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Hav Antiel, Commodore |

NEWS | |||
This week, I visited a traveling exhibition of artifacts from the Galactic Civil War (or, in a galaxy not so far away, the Star Wars and the Power of Costume exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Arts). It was awe-inspiring seeing battle-used relics (er, screen-used props), such as a TIE pilot flight suit and helmet from the Battle of Yavin, Lord Vader's original mechanical suit, and stormtrooper armor from the Battle of Endor. The exhibit also included confiscated rebel scum contraband, items from the Clone Wars, and a variety of robes that apparently belonged to simple moisture farmers. These items were of some interest as well. If you have a chance to visit this traveling exhibit, I highly recommend it. As noted in AD Plif's report, the Warrior's monthly ship evaluation has been processed, and I have made July's medal recommendations, including the winners of the Commodore's Escort Flight. I'm not sure if GN Frown has recommended the medals for his escort flight winners, and at this point I'm afraid to ask. So far, I've been able to avoid any major interactions with him, and I'd kind of like to keep it that way. Not that he knows who I am. As a reminder, the Escort Flight competitions continue this month. In addition, the Trivia Grand Tour has returned and now enters week two. |
