Current Wing News and Events

A real significant turn of event has flashed through the Avenger Task Force this week. This event would be the resignation of VA Firefox from BGCOM. Yes this is sad news, especially for those of us who knew Firefox for quite a long while. The good side of this event would be the fact that Firefox was appointed new Grand Master of the Dark Brotherhood. I always knew that Firefox would be selected for GM and the time has come rather quicker than even I expected and I'm sure most of you feel the same. So I would like to offer much success and congratulate my good friend and Imperial Officer VA Firefox!!!!
Wing XX has received a few more new members this week, a huge welcome to CM Elvaron Starfire (Talon 3-2), LT Ulysses (Nemesis 1-2) and LT Frey Gallandro (Talon 3-1), welcome again pilots!
The new TIE Corps Dress Uniforms have been released, go get your components at: Ops Office.
The Wings Roster population is now up to 27 members! :) Also the squadron citations are on the rise, excellent job to all of you. Wing XX's participation Fleet Wide is fantastic and all your individual activities, Wing and Squadron is outstanding :)
Wing XX wins the COM'S Judgment for the second time in a row!! - LCM Ache Nu won 1st in TIE, GN Smitrock won 1st in XvT, LCM DeathKnight won 3rd in XWA and CPT Angel won 1st in JK. Wing XX won 33% of the overall points given us Coms Own!!. Outstanding work to all the contributors.

Current Wing Competitions (status/details/results)

The "King of the Wing" competition is now in its final week. The following four finalists (Ace, grail, PhoenixMan and Angel) are too fly Free XvT #25 and submit the plt file to LCM Rracall (Wing Role Master) and I. So far we have 3 submissions and the last submission is on its way. We will announce the 1st place winner after 12 midnight today EST since I have to be at work Friday for my 24 hour shift. With the announcement we will also launch the new Flying competition submitted by MAJ Grail SoulChaser. Note this comp is already approved by the Training Office. More details to come.

The Battle of Endor - "TIE Corps Version"

Description:
We all know the horrible ending to Return of the Jedi but if you sit and think if the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps was involved what might the outcome be? I would like you too write your own version of the Battle of Endor with the TIE Corps Fleet. I don't expect you to write in detail of all 4 Battlegroups specific actions but you must involve the Avenger Task Force. I would like this story to be at least 1 page long and with decent Grammar. I want you too brainstorm on this, change what ever original ROTJ details you want from individual dogfights to the Death Star tunnel run and the events after. Try to emphasize on the dogfights involing you. Have fun with this!

What a fantastic week. A ton of flown battle and mission, IWATS completed and other activities. Wing XX is truly an awesome Wing. I'm proud to serve as your WC, you all are true Imperial pilots!
