Well most everyone by now knows that I will be retiring from Wing Commander this weekend. I have been a member of the TC for 2 years and 9 months now and I have enjoyed it emessly. It’s an online club for any true Star Wars fan that understands that it’s universe runs far more into detail than just the movies.

I have accomplished many things in my career here. Some accomplishmests are on a personal level and some on a TC wide level. My personal accomplishments many other members will not have the oppurtunity to do. I am very proud of what I have achieved, having the oppurtunity to open 2 new Wings from scratch in the same Battlegroup. Earning the rank of Colonel as a Squadron Commander was also important for me. For some I suppose its not a crowning acheivement but its no doubt difficult to do and takes a bit of time :P. Above many others the one event that gave me the most pleassure was commanding a Wing with the finest pilots the Fleet offers. Wing XX being the youngest in the Fleet rised up from a brand new ship and snagged the TIE Corps Commanders Own after the 3^rd month of it’s opening. Wing XX still progresses in top-notch activity and leads the way in the standard of loyalty and dedication of its members.

Retirement is the best route for me now, I have accomplished everything I set out to do and more. My personal goals have been ful-filled and I feel that there’s nothing else I can or need to achieve.J The best years of my career have been in Wing XX , I may be stepping down from Wing Commander but I can never step away. I feel it’s time to let another fine pilot take command now. The one thing I have always believed in is giving people a chance to show what they can do. I have taken many chances (something I have no fear of) in the past and for the most they have been successful. I rely heavily on fate and because of this Wing XX is where it is today. It has the most dedicated commanders and hardest working flight Leaders/Members. It’s them that has molded this Wing.

I will be transferring to the reserves for just a little while. I will return to Wing XX soon as a Flight Member to the squadron that has the least pilots so I can assist in anyway I can.

I have grown in this club with many members and I have made freindships with many members along the way. It would be impossible to name them all but I will display the most influencial and closest.

-Shups, Shups is a close friend of mine in the TC and in real life. He was the one that turned me on to the Tie Corps and is my TC mentor. When he explained the Star Wars club he stumbled upon a few months before I signed on it sounded very cool but at the same time I was apprehesive a bit. When I went to the site I was astounded by how much the EH had to offer. I enlisted in the TC and the rest is history. Under Shups command I learned the ways of leadership and melee tactics. We both agreed one day that we both would obtain the rank of General. Well my friend eventhough we have had GN for a while (you in the past) we did what we set out to do. J

-Tiger, me and Tiger’s TC freindship is just about as long as Shups and I. We both were Flight Leaders at the same time in Crusader Squadron under Shups command. We also excelled in position and rank and maintained these in the same BG. We have helped each other out in many ways over these few years. We also think a like in many ways, kinda scary actually. /smit runs for a DNA test. :P

-Firefox, yeah I remember this guy, he was like our WC back in Crusader :P Scary I know :P hehe. Firefox has been an excellent friend. I still to this day ask him questions about things. Never hesitates to answer me, if he doesn’t then I know he’s just ignoring me. :P

-Grail, our friendship is younger than the above but it’s a very strong one. Grail is like a TC brother to me like Tigs and Shups. I new Grail would be an awesome member, he was a great team player in Chaos squadron so without hesitation I gave him command of Nemesis. He has shot up in the EH like a rocket straight to Mars. I greatly respect his talents, leadership and most of all our friendship.

-I have made close friendships with other older members over the years, Falcon, another Crusader oldie. A great friend not only in the TC setting but a great friend to chat with about real lifes obstacles. Fenn Logan, an Avenger oldie. Always there for a good laugh :P A very talented pilot and a great friend. Shadowhawk, my queen, always an enjoyable conversation with her on any subject. SH another Avenger oldie, always finding the better side of everything. Sure has made me feel better about things gone wrong that I have thrown on her. J and to other friends that I have to squeeze in; Enahropes (Ropes!), Phoenix Man (PM!), Bryan (Bryan!), Dae Cam (Hey Dae), Daviriv (Dav!), Frey (Big Frey!), Cutter (Cut!), Ninj (NinjaWolf :P), Angel (Angeleena), Azazel (Az!), Destroyer (Dest!), Crx (Crix-ah!!!!!!!!!!!!), Raisteline (Raisie), MCA (guess the name J ), Shadd (Weasie!), Ace (003 that is), Dax Corrin (Dax!), Death (A nice guy actually :P) and many others that deserve to be on here!

Also congrat to CPT Frey Gallandro, he has officially transferred to Talon Commander!

A new point system for Squadron of the Month and Pilot of the Month have been implemented as of now. The system can be view in the news section of the Wing XX site. Commanders are to make sure there total for the month is on their final report for that month. A separate total for their pilots is to be sent after the WSR directly to VA Grail and CC me as well.

The SNT is an ATF hosted competition. I urge all to promote this competition as much as possible. SNT means a lot to me, it was the first successful inner club competition that awarded LoC’s and helped with recruitment in the SSD Avenger’s earlier history.

DPR was a monthly fiction competition created and ran by CMDR Slyth. It was a very good fiction comp and I would love to see it continue. I think RM Daviriv Rracall will still run this, please post on the message board about this topic to see if DPR can still go on.

Well my follow ATF comrades, this has been my final Wing Commander report. I will still be close like I mentioned earlier. Avenger Task Force, there’s nothing else like it. It has been my home for 97% of my TC career and always will be. I wish each and every one of you the best in the Tie Corps and above all the best in the real world. Set your goals in the highest standards and claim them!
