Fleet News
==========

  • From now until April 8, you can inform Lucasarts of your opinions about their Star Wars games at http://www.surveyhost.net/swsurv-l

  • GA Ronin has begun a competition to select a new EH Graphic which DOES NOT use the Imperial Emblem. The winner will earn a Grand Order of the Emperor.

  • The new Emperor's Hammer database will be absorbing the TIE Corps database and be usable for any subgroup. Once that happens, the Naval Corps will be disbanded and reabsorbed back into the XWA squadrons of the TIE Corps. The new system will have many new features. The first subgroup after the TIE Corps to use the new database will be the Intelligence Division.

  • The EH Image Archive has been updated: http://ia.emperorshammer.ca/

Battlegroups News
=================

  • BGCOM Jarak Maldon has been promoted to Full Admiral. Congratulations!

  • Operation: Cantina Run III is entering Phase III. This new phase will use a FREE TIE Mission of my choice and begin on Wednesday, March 21. Our score will be determined by our participation, and how close to or above the current high score as of that date we get to. Therefore, we need to select a mission that any pilot can easily finish, and that not too many other people have yet flown, so that the current high score is reachable. Let me and Corran Force know right away of any TIE mission you think meets these criteria.

    Here are our standings for phase II:

    Thunder 3/6 50%
    Typhoon 7/8 87%
    Inferno 9/9 100%
    Cyclone 3/5 60%
    Tornado 5/7 71%
    Tempest 6/7 86%

    Total Pilots submitting 33
    Pilots in Wing 43
    Pilots excused 1
    Participation Percentage (33/42) 79%
    Total submissions 72

    We achieved a 79% participation rate, which earned us 3 bonus points, added to our 2 bonus points from Phase I. We did not have any of our graphics place in the top 3, so we earned no base points for phase II.

    We now stand at 8 total points after the first two phases, and we still have one phase to go. We will be announcing the FREE TIE mission for phase 3 very soon.

    We are currently in third place (8 points) behind the Relentless (25 points) and the Immortal (13 points). The Colossus is in fourth place (7 points)

Wing X / ISD Challenge News
===========================

  • NEW WING COMMANDER
    I'm COL Manitsas, your new Wing Commander. All the squadron commanders know me from my years as the Inferno CMDR, but there may be some pilots who are getting to know me for the first time. I served for a time as the ISD Challenge ship's doctor, and even though I am now your Wing Commander, I will be working with your Commanders to ensure that your experience in Wing X is a fun and rewarding one. I also encourage asking the current ship's doctor, CMDR/CM Daisuke Airyu, for help with any problems you do not feel comfortable talking to me about.

  • GENERAL DARKLORD DEPARTS FOR THE RESERVES
    Former Wing Commander Darklord has decided to retire. I wish him good luck in his new job and I would like to remind everyone how well he held this wing together. He leaves big shoes to fill!

  • CPT CALVIN NUNB COMMANDS INFERNO
    A recent BG Pilot of the Month, CPT Calvin Nunb, has made me very happy by agreeing to take command of my old squadron, Inferno.

  • WING X HONOR GUARD
    We are all to fly TC-TIE 150. TFRs are due to me Thursday, March 23 from the Squadron Commanders. The top 12 scoring pilots will be enshrined in the Wing X Honor Guard.

  • WING X MORALE BOOSTING COMPETITION
    I am working on developing a new type of competition designed to boost morale and promote togetherness for the entire Wing. I am anticipating being able to award an Iron Star ribbon for the pilot who writes the most effective testimonial for another Wing X pilot. You would choose a pilot who you feel should be recognized by the entire wing and tell us why. I welcome any comments on this experiment.

  • CYCLONE BEGINS CYCLONE CUP 2001
    CM Corran Halcyon begins this "cup" with only 5 pilots. There will be 2 matches and 1 pilot will sit out per week. The first week's draw is:
