Greetings Wing XX and the rest of the Avenger Task Force. Today I present you with the 33th Wing XX weekly report which make a total of 33 from me since opening.

A relaxed week here in Wing XX, so lets see…………..

NEWS:

  • First off congrats to the following Pilots on they’re recent promotions;

LT Marcus Arelius => LCM!

I have a feeling there are more to come J

  • Saturday Night Training Results:

A very good night for SNT and another great hosting job done by MAJ Falcon J

XvT – 4 matches flown. (special recognition to COL Shups, he won four of the four matches flown)

XWA – 5 matches flown. (special recognition to MAJ Dae Cam, he won three of the five matches flown)

JKII – 1 match played.

10 matches flown altogether.
  • "Iridonia Update" – ok, we now have all 5 mission plotlines done. We are now currently going to review them one last time. I will send all the plotlines to the Wing tonight. We will then move on to creating the first mission. One by one we’ll design them, test them so that the entire battle flows right. I also have made a custom planet of Iridonia for the XvT battle, just let me know when I’m on IRC and I’ll DCC it to ya. J
  • "DPR #2 Results" – Results for this past DPR #2

-LCM TK-7764 – 2nd

Congrats and great work!

  • "Crunch Time Results" – Man this was a close one. These two really fought it out and what a close score. I’m very pleased with the competitiveness

-LCM Rob Patton came in first with 127094

  • "BGCOM’s Judgment " – Umm, did I mention we are Wing of the Month again! J
  • "Labelling Reminder" – Just a reminder to the Wing, when submitting pilot files please use a labelling system that involves your name/game platform/number. Its helps your commanding officer locate the battle/mission easier and it helps you receive your FCHG points quicker…everyone is happy J

  • "We Need A Symbol!" – One submission thus far, lets get these in.

 

  • "Long Enough to be a CAB!!" – No submissions so far, the deadline is 5/15/02, it’s a 9 mission battle with patches so get started! J
  • With Marcus Caines promotion to Ravager Commander we will be accepting applications for Wing XX Role Master. Please send to me and CC Marcus as well.
  • Wing XO Phoenix Man now has a web site. It has web site error checks charted for the squadron and future competitions: http://members.tripod.com/gmfphoenix00/

As always make sure you stop by the TIE Corps news page. It has all the current fleet news/reports and competitions. No doubt the first place to stop when entering the EH database.

Dark Pride Rising #2 (Over)

Monthly fiction competition due at the end of the month.

 

Little bit slower of week but none the less there were a great amount of submitted pilot files and medals awarded. I’m pleased with everyones participation in combat events. I would like to see more Wing XX members try to make it for some fleet wide competitions, we have some very talented pilots! J SNT was slow this past Saturday, I hope to see another busy night this weekend. My thanks go out to MAJ Falcon, even being retired he still hosts this competition! He maybe the most popular comp host yet, hehe.
