Wing News.

The WC has selected a new WIng Mascot! The WC describes it as follows;
"Wing I's mascot is Rick, the Pink Elephant. Forged from the psychic
energies of inebriated Wing I pilots, Rick the Pink Elephant is the
physical manifestation of our anger and hatred. Visible only to the
extremely drunk, the nine ton elephant roams the halls of Wing I
silently, muching on an occasional Lieutenant and crushing the
occasional starfighter."


Squadron News.

LC FLorian transferred to the Reserve due to RL Pressure.
COL StarLion transferred to the Reserve due to RL Pressure.
COL Joerg is recovereing from a leg injury, but is still with us.
LC Murad has been reappointed as Gamma CMDR (I missed the CMDRs chair too much!)


Activity Report.

I am pleased to report that rumours of Gamma's death have been exagerrated! We are still here, and we can still fly!
LC Muard has flown TC-TIE #154.
COL Joerg has flown TC-TIE #154.
LCM Shannon Knight was unable to fly the battle, as he has WinXP on his new machine and Tie95 doesn't work with it. If anyone has any suggestions that will help LCM Shannon Knight to be able to fly TIE please contact me (or him!). Otherwise the LCM can only take part in XvT/XWA activities!


Squadron Status.

Active competitions:
1 - Jack's Ultimate Scramble.
This is a simple competition: fly as many battles as you can
between November 1st and December 31st. Please submit pilot files to
your CMDRs for this competition.
2 - Mascot Power Battles!
A trivia competition.

Roster stands at 4.

Please regularly check the TC news pages, and even more importantly, check the Wing I Website at www.emperorshammer.de for regular updates and the current competition status. Also, get using the Wing I message board!

LC Murad has begun work on a new Gamma Website. Expect some progress by next weekend...then I need to find somewhere to host it/put it up.
We need to think about recruiting...I've tried many of my friends, but most of them think I'm mad, and most of them don't even like Star Wars let alone computer games! (Poor misguided fools!). You may have better luck!

Please check roster details below and advise me if there are any changes needed. Please can you all respond to this e-mail to let me know your current status as soon as possible :-).
