-Volunteers needed!
The War Officer is looking for volunteers, to test new WarGame
rules. If interested, you must have some knowledge of wargaming,
and being able to make TIE missions is a big plus. Contact VA
Pel if you are able to participate. Remember, those that help
out will be rewarded for their work.
-Emperor's Hammer Crest for X-Wing Alliance
Ever wanted to have the Emperor's Hammer logo displayed at the
beginning of custom XWA missions ? Check the new official update
available in the Tactical Manual. Note: you may not have the
Emperor's Hammer crest displayed in old XWA battles, they still
need to be updated to allow the use of custom crests.

WING/SHIP NEWS:
---------------
-As you all know by now, we have moved the Relentless IRC
channel to #isd|relentless. This was done under the order of
Lohr with the approval of our WC Krax. I concur under this
principle, the traditions and history of the Fighting Ninth are
bigger then any one of us because they come from ALL of us. Sad
as I am to see the passing of #isd_relentless, if the running of
this ship is interfered with, we must act accordingly.
-PRIORITY BRAVO-TWO: Top Gun submissions were due to me and Krax
by today. By my count we got four pilots to participate in the
comp. Good luck to all those who flew. Expect the results
soon.
-The winner of the WCO plaque/banner competition will be
annouced shortly.
-To reiterate what Krax says, the SSO's clearly state that
weekly reports and monthly self-evaluations are required from
all pilots. Most of you have been very good about this, but a
couple have lagged, this reflects negatively on you come
evaluation time. Your comments are valuable and do you really
want me to be the only one to comment on you? :-P
-Maj Da'emon Narshay was declared AWOL. Yes, even Commanders
must check in every once in a while. :-) This leaves a command
opening for Spear Squadron. Currently, NO applications are
being accepted.
-Congratulations to Neko and Mosh on their promotions to LCM and
CM respectively. You two are truly assets to the Fighting
Ninth.
SQUADRON NEWS:

-Operation Double Citations:
Thanks to the hard work of our very own Maj Shae, we now have a
list of battles which will lead to more citations for Hammer and
greater prestige. I have past around the list and many pilots
have already hit the cockpit to both finish these battles and
lead us in the December WCO. Furthermore, I want us to double
the number of citations we have from 12 to 24 by the end of this
month. We all know this is possible and I am greatly pleased to
annouce that we are almost there. As of today, Hammer has 17
citations. Just 7 more to go, keep up the hard work!!!
-Hammer Squadron Top Gun December
I have decided to change the Top Gun comp this month to aid us
in our goal of reaching 24 citations. This time I am assigning
TIE-TC Battle #70 to all of you. Fly it on hard, and fly it
well, make your old commander proud! :-) Neko is the resident
ace here, but how long can he hold off the furious pursuit of
our very own former Praetorian, Shae "Kitten" Kitarn? What
about the dark horse efforts of Dupuy? Will the rust from not
flying in over a month prevent Tycho from realizing his dream of
being the top pilot on our squadron? Find out all these answers
and more when the competition draws the close in two weeks.
Yes, all TFR's are due December, 24 2001. Christmas Eve, so no
one should have any excuse for forgetting the due date on this
one. Good luck, pilots!
