THE COMMANDERS BIT & SQUAD NEWS

It seems that Wing II has gone into shock, due to the news of WC Inkwolf's retirement, either that or a lot of people are on holidays and haven't told anyone!

On that same subject, as yet I haven't heard anything about who the new WC is. Hopefully it will be someone from Wing II and also I hope that people aren't holding back from the job in the hope that Inky will step back into the breach. That would not be fair and we all know that sometimes RL throws more stuff at us than we can handle and sometimes things we like to do, have to be put 'on hold' for stuff that *HAS* to be done. The sooner she can leave to get her RL stuff sorted, the sooner she'll be back!

The first battle for Galactic Scatter is due in NOW! Get your TFR's for TC2 into LCM Jack Stone ASAP!

Bad news now. I have had Khioet Csuhen delclared AWOL and moved to the reserves, due to extreme lack of activity/contact etc.

Also, it seems that someone took it upon themselves to fill SA Kowalski's e-mail box with a bunch of rubbish. He is NOT impressed!

As far Imperial Storm II is concerned, it seems to be in 'stasis', with everyone consolidating or building up their forces for a 'Battle Royal'.

Applications for Advanced Guard Positions Open

With the recent AWOL check completed, the Advanced Guard is looking for a few good individuals who think they are up to the task of being a diplomat in the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet.

I will be taking applications for the next week. There are two classifications, Ambassadors and Viceroys, and depending on the number of applications I receive, I'll decide how many go in each group. Here are the requirements:

Ambassador - you must be the rank of Commander or higher and have been a member in good standings with the Emperor's Hammer for four months. You must also have time to devote to your duties, and a willingness to work for the Advanced Guard.

Viceroy - must be the rank of Colonel or higher, with above average diplomatic skills and have been a member in good standing with the Emperor's Hammer for over six months. Once again, you must be willing to devote time to your Advanced Guard duties.

Each application must contain the following:

- Name
- E-mail Address
- AIM Name (if applicable)
- ICQ Number (if applicable)
- a brief paragraph on why you want to join the Advanced Guard

Send all applications to la@emperorshammer.org with the Subject as either AMB Application or VROY Application, depending on which position you are applying for. No applications will be considered after July 20th.

If you're an active TC officer (or reservist) that's not stationed on Daedalus, you can participate in the poll by logging in the Administration section.
