THETA SQUADRON WEEKLY REPORT 29th July 2001
THE COMMANDERS BIT & SQUAD NEWS

By now you will know that we have a new WC.
If you don't know or you have been hiding under a rock for the last week, that person is COL Ford Prefect!
All bow to his Fordliness or he'll send the Mariachi Mini-Fords after you!

Not too much happening in Theta this week, although what is happening is fairly big.

LCM Xris Rawle has returned and has been placed in Theta 2-2.

We are also having a competition, Theta & Sin vs Kappa. Fly TC-177. It's a 'new' battle so you have a good opportunity to get a high score for this one!

Galactic Scatter is ending it's second week; if you haven't flown mission 6 of the Inkwolf's Raid series, do so now and get the TFR to LCM Jack Stone at chamberlain2426@aol.com ASAP! ( CC me too!)
The next battle is TC-10, or so I've been told and it's due in this time next week.;o)

Avenger is Victorious

After 2 hours of fierce battle today, the Avenger vs Red Squadron War has been concluded. I am proud to announce that Avenger was victorious. With 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss Avenger ruled supreme. The activies were 2 FFA, 3 Combat Engagements and 2 Team Melees. For Avenger flew CPT Dax Corrin, CM Azrael and LC Tarkin. It was a great effort from CPT Dax Corrin and CM Azrael, I salute you!

I would like to thank our opponents, Red Squadron for the games and all the fun! Also, a word of thanks to the EH's COO Wet Willy and AD Kieran Idanian for organizing this event. I hope we can someday repeat this "war'" .

For those who still haven't heard, my internet access died on late Friday night and I only got it back working again on Monday afternoon. To compound things, I picked up something on Saturday and have been sick as a dog. However, I've just finished approving the backlog of competitions submitted and all the IWATS tests I mark were cleared out yesterday. Thanks for the patience shown by all members during this.
