I'm giving this a 5 because of the variety in flight craft and also enemy craft. Each mission also was distinctly different. In short, the battle is a lot of fun to fly -- especially nice not to see wave after wave of fighter craft, and that you need to fly well in older Imperial craft. Well done!

Unfortunately, I have to give this mission a poor mark for a couple of reasons: -- "Some craft escaped" causes mission failure if one of the zillion enemies gets away sometime during the lengthy mission. This is extremely frustrating, and unfair. -- Endless dogfighting. We've seen it a million times. Boring.

This battle is incredible. I've been flying EH battles for many years now, and this is THE best one I've seen. If this does not win battle of the decade, it's a crime. The story line is engaging and full of twists; the mission construction is first-rate, with, many, many innovations and great touches. You fly a SHU, T/Fs, T/Bs, and even T/Ds without shields -- you name it! Stupendously fun! I salute Colonel Beef!

This battle was a little painful to complete. There was a little too much dead time. For instance, the last mission, you have to wait 6 minutes for an ATR to capture a DREAD, with nothing else to do but wait. The minefield mission, No. 3, was a lot of fun.

This is a very enjoyable battle. It's not too hard for the average pilot, which is a nice change of pace, yet it is challenging. It has excellent variety, and has no dumb frustrations that some other battles are saddled with. Plus, the alternate endings are very clever. Also, the battle was not buggy! Lots of fun!
