Two previously unplayable (on modern platforms, Win7 x64, Win Vista x64, and Linux) X-Wing Alliance missions have been made playable once again. The two missions are XWA-TC battle 41: Wing IX: Up and At Em', and XWA-TC battle 50: Wing IX: Evacuation of Zanica. See the general section of XWA patches for download and installation instructions.

Well, after the recent flood of medals inspired by the Raise the Flag event, the TCCOM could not be left out, could he - for his efforts during Raise the Flag as well as his leadership over the past Sith-knows how many months, HA Bonini was awarded a Gold Star of the Empire as well.

Two new patches have been added to the XWA patch archive. Both are craft packs, however, there is a NO CD version included. Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Linux pilots can now fly the majority XWA custom battles. Look for the remainder of custom missions to be made available on modern operating systems in the coming weeks.
