The only thing I can say for that is I have counted every activity that has come intothe tc-fleetops google group.
I laid out in the original email / news post that all submissions were to be sent to that group. If you failed to do
so then your activity will not be counted. I'm sorry but those are the rules.

Addendum to TIE Corps policies and procedures

Jedi Eclipse

24 August, 2009 16:23
17 ABY
TIE Corps policies and procedures
Addendum to the Pilots Manual

1. Terminology that will be used henceforth in this document:
1.1 -
Activity - fly at least one mission (MP/SP), write a piece of fiction, present a graphic, take part in a competition or post (Meaningfully, spam is not counted) on the message board. In addition to contacting their direct commanding officer with status / activity report.
1.2-
AWOL - Absent Without Leave - Term used to designate an inactive member who may respond to emails but fails to meet the requirements for Activity (1.1) within a 30 day period. AWOL pilots may retain their rank but is transferred to the Reserves.
1.3-
MIA - Missing In Action - Term used to designate an inactive member that is unable to be reached and has not had any meaningful Activity (1.1) within a proscribed time limit. MIA pilots do not retain their rank and are listed in the database as inactive and do not show up on a roster.
1.4 -
Re-Qual - Requalification process. This is a mandatory step for all members returning from reserves or an inactive status. This consists of meeting a flight requirement (TBA)
1.5 -
LOA - Leave of Abscense - A (normally) set period of time, like a vacation that a pilot will be unable to participate in anything that meets Activity (1.1) requirements. (ie, a pilot will be in training for an armed forces group (Real Life) for a certain amount of time and will be unable to contact their superiors in the TC)

2. New / Updates to Procedures
2.1-
Any pilot that wishes to return from the Reserves or an inactive status will now have to follow a new process if they are in the reserves longer than 30 days.
2.1.1. Contact the TCCOM with intent to become active
2.1.2. TCCOM will then referr the pilot to the Dean and be transferred to Daedelus
2.1.3. The pilot will then have to complete one of these steps:
2.1.3.a: Complete Flight certification :
Fly a battle or mission out of a given set to be determined by the Dean based on platforms available to the pilot.
2.1.3.b: Provision for non-flight capable members :
There are times that members want to become active again within the TC but cannot for whatever reason participate in flight operations. It is understood that this happens and will provide this alternative. Any pilot attempting this step must provide the Dean with a piece of Fiction that they wrote describing their in-character reasoning for requesting reactivation as well as an OOC justification for why they should be allowed to become active. Re-entry is based on judgement by members of the Admiralty Board.
2.2 -
The process for AWOL (1.2) has changed. Pilots may now be considered AWOL if they have not participated in any of the proscribed Activities(1.1) within a 30 day period. If a pilot is considered AWOL they will retain their rank and be moved into the reserves where after 30 days will be subject to the new rule 2.1 (above).
2.3 -
In addition to the AWOL Process (2.2) there is a new designation create to handle pilots who are unable to be contacted in any form. This designation is MIA (1.3) and as such pilots will Not be moved into the reserves but will be stricken from the roster and rank will be forfeit. It will be possible to return to active duty from this status however all that are attempting to return must complete the Re-Qual (2.1) process regardless of length of time as MIA. Justification for being MIA will be a requirement as well. It is understood that things can happen that make it hard or impossible to keep in contact and pilots will not be penalized for those situations but they must be addressed on a per-pilot basis.
2.4 -
Any pilot that will undertake a LOA (1.5) that spans Six weeks or more, (inclusive) will be moved to the reserves until such time as they are able to return to active duty. There will be no exceptions to this policy. If a pilot has a schedueld LOA that they know will be longer than Six weeks they will be transferred to the reserves after the first week in case of a change in plans. If a pilot is on an unscheduled (spurr of the moment but notified as a LOA) LOA and is unreachable for Six weeks they will be moved to the reserves. This condition is not to be confused with AWOL or MIA. It is the duty of each squadron commander to keep track of their pilots dates of activity and Leaves. Commanders are responsible for reporting all pilots that meet the above conditions promptly.

This addendum to the general orders and regulations of the TIE Corps are now in affect.

To all TIE Corps pilots. Just several hours ago, an unknown force has struck at the very heart of the Emperor's Hammer - Aurora system. Despite the brave actions of the Aurora defences and the arriving reinforcements from the entire TIE Corps, we were unable to prevent the adversary from bombarding Aurora Prime. The New Imperial City has been hit hard; although we are still counting casualties, the numbers are already reaching millions. Even now, our citizens are dying as our forces fight off the remnants of the attack force.

In order to properly address the situation, I am issuing Executive Order 213. I hereby create the TIE Corps Rapid Response Force, based on the ISDII Hammer that has recently left the shipyards. All TIE Corps pilots from the following squadrons:
- Alpha
- Kappa
- Tempest
- Tornado
- Flayer
- Fury
- Blue
are to report to the ISDII Hammer for their new assignments. Vice Admiral Astin, the Strategic Operations Officer, shall take command of the Rapid Response Force and will be the commanding officer of the Hammer.

These are trying times for the TIE Corps, but I have full confidence that you will handle this restructure well and shall make the fools that have attacked us understand their mistake. We are elite of the elite, and we will make them pay for what they've done !

Okay, so apparently there are quite a few people that are unable to complete TIE-TC 184. For the sake of those people I have decided to add a new battle to the competition, and it is quite fitting too! All submissions for TIE-TC 184 will be counted still but I will add another battle that will be rewarded just like all the others and it is ... *drum rolls*

"The Perils of Diplomacy"
TIE-FCHG # 3 ( Here )

So with this addendum to the rules, you can receive a IS-GW for not 4 but 5 different battles!

Remember, this competition is based on the overall battle score and not just completion, to be on top you have to push yourself to the limit! ( yes that means playing on HARD :P )

Battle reviews and bug reports restored

11 August, 2009 13:38
17 ABY
As of a few minutes ago, all the battle reviews and bug reports from the old database have been restored to the Compendium. Unfortunately, the battle ratings were glitchy - it seems the old database allowed you to rate a battle without leaving a review. This means there's no way to retrieve the ratings left to recalculate future average ratings. As a result, the old average rating values were discarded, and all ratings were recalculated using the ones provided with the reviews.
Muchos gracias to LC Kenath Zoron for his work in this.

As the New Republic Fleet attacks our borders, the entire TIE Corps rushes to defend the borders against the invaders.

Pilots of the TIE Corps, due to the recent events the Admiralty board has moved into a strategic operations mode. As such I will move from just a training role to helping assign missions. We have a critical need right now for all active duty pilots to contribute to this effort.

We must now attack the rebel dogs before they can make a strike deeper into our hearts. From initial intelligence it seems they have destroyed our outer defense forces! We must attack them before they can regroup!

All pilots who are flight capable, we call on you to man your ships. Your orders are as follows :

1: The ace pilots are called on to attack the enemy head on! Do what is necessary to break the forces. Spearhead the attack force by lancing into their formations and take care of the fighter escorts so the ISD's can come in and hary the capital ships

Effective immediately I shall start my leave. I should be back late Friday. In the meantime, Vice Admiral Astin and Rear Admiral Eclipse will hopefully keep the TIE Corps running until my return.

Rumours

The Aurora Times reporters have recently performed an investigation regarding the recent lack of public appearances by the Emperor's Hammer Executive Officer and Fleet Commander. There have been rumours that Grand Admiral Cyric and Sector Admiral Maverick have been sighted recently on the Emperor's Hammer border near the 'Aspire' network of Golan Space Stations.

We have asked the current TIE Corps Commander, Vice Admiral Pred, about the current whereabouts of the EH leaders. All we got was a standard response that such matters are "classified information". When inquired about the rumours presented above, Pred's commented that they are "ridiculous" and should not be taken seriously.

Keep your eyes opened as The Aurora Times investigation continues !

I think it\'s about time we get some happy news around here. I\'m very excited to announce the promotion of the TIE Corps\' newest General: Kaisin Mirtez of Kappa Squadron! Below is the promotion request made by GN Rancorous, which I think sums it up pretty well.

In four days time, by my reckoning, COL Kaisin Mirtez will reach 4 years service in the TIE Corps, the last year or this term he has served at the rank of Colonel and Squadron Commander.

During this time he has been an exceptional officer, in fact the very epitome of what the Corps requires in its Commanders. During my time as Wing VI Commander Kaisin has been a ready shoulder to lean on and effectively my right hand man. Always ready to offer support, advice and suggestions for moving the Wing forward, or to try and drum up some activity. He is a dedicated Commander and in his time in Ares and now in Kappa has constantly maintained contact with his pilots attempting to fire them up into activity. If this drive for activity fails Kaisin takes it personally, such is his desire to be the best and command the best.

I have lost count over the years of how many times I have had to upgrade his reported activity from \"Low\" to the more appropriate grade of \"High\" a measure of how high Kaisin sets his own bar.

It is a pleasure to serve with him, despite his ever present \"Pink Lizards\" and I feel that after a year of service at Colonel he richly deserves the promotion to the rank of General and to join the small club of people found worthy of this prestigious rank.

I hereby request the Colonel Kaisin Mirtez of Kappa Squadron, Wing VI on board the ISD II Warrior be promoted to the rank of General with all the rights and privileges that this rank bestows.

Sincerely
GN \"Cube\" Rancorous
