Okay story, but having to laser down a CRL, by myself that was armed with missiles was incredibly annoying.

Oof. Missile spam, not fun. Allied craft that aren't effective, not fun. Trying to pay attention to important system messages among the plethora of allied craft being destroyed and new incoming ship messages, not fun. Even on easy this requires multiple playthroughs to catch which ships to pay attention to - or, as seems to be the standard, inspecting the missions in yogeme to sneak a peak at triggers and orders to get a heads up. This honestly, to me, seems to be against the spirit of the game in the first place and should negatively impact scoring. However, there's no way to determine that has been done so that won't happen.

Pretty standard "protect mission critical craft that's made of balsa wood" mission :) Requires some situational awareness and dedication, but not bad overall. Flown for Imperial Storm VIII.

Overall a good, challenging mission. However, due to trying to get it done in time for IS I finally had to complete it with invincibility turned on. If it wasn't for the time limit I'd have happily reflown it until I figured it out.

Challenging mission with tricky sequencing. My wingmen felt pretty useless, and I had trouble even when I think I was doing the optimal timing and order of operations.

There's a lot to like with this mission, in particularly with it having a balanced amount of enemies for the player to fight. Two knocks on it: the shuttle has to be disabled (which may or may not happen), and no real difficulty balance (advanced missiles on Easy is generally a bad idea...)
But definitely a fun one to fly, all the same!

I want to like this mission. On the plus side, you have a Calamari Cruiser with real teeth and a proper assortment of rebel fighters, whereby you have to be on your toes and intercept the B-Wings and X-Wings before they do the deed on your little exchange of goods. As well as a nice touch of the Rebels attempting to snatch it themselves. On the flip side, if you over-perform and the B-Wings fail to disable the shuttle, you have to go and disable it yourself for some reason, instead of it having proper orders to exchange cargo with the SPC. The problem? While you are busy fighting it's running off to the sunset and if you let it, it will just keep going forever.

I've revised this mission since Kenath Zoron's review. I've addressed the problems he mentioned and made many other subtle improvements. I hope it's much more enjoyable to play than it was before.

I must say that this mission wasn't at all fun to fly. All you do is dodge missles from either A-Ws or the Mon Cal Cruiser. It's very annoying and I only managed to beat it with luck and flying on Easy. I flew it on Hard about 10 times trying to get as close as I could to the high-score for a DB comp. Same thing happened under Medium. Fly this mission only if you really need too...
