A poorly put together mission with bad craft, the usual impossible to beat on hard and questionable capital ship choices. Due to the MC90 and VSD being used, all the AI does is crash into both ships. A message about avoiding the guns on the MC90 is nonsensical because the ship paths into turbolaser range of your capital ship, meaning you will always be in range of its guns. If we are to avoid it, why do all fighters immediately target it as soon as it drops out of hyperspace?
Tough little mission in those MkII without shields and getting wave after wave of Y-Ws, and also, why not, dodging missiles as in any case this is a Dempsey mission. But worth a try, since it's challenging and will have the joystick twisted several times, in a long session of dogfighting in an unshielded. Not an easy point though, be warned.
Nice mission indeed! And being able to fly those TIE Experimentals just makes it better, although I must admit I prefer the Mk.I than the Mk.II. Anyways, unshielded fun for everybody the way it should be.
Primary objective states to drive off the rebel attackers but in order to complete the mission you have to destroy all rebel forces.
Different bug: due to the MC-90 hangar the shuttle containing the saboteur is unable to properly enter the ship; it flies in circles around it. If you disable the cruiser then the shuttle, you can get the stormtrooper transport to board it.
Every ship that attacks the MC-90 crusier crashes into it and dies.
The shuttle bonus goal is impossible to complete due to the fact that it launches so close to the MC-90 that the boarding craft is destroyed by the MC-90 before it gets a chance to finish docking with it.
B-Wings or Y-wings will frequently crash into the Sinister depending on their angle of attack.

The sabotage is most inconvenient, since the advanced tactical fighter squadron is undergoing maintenance and is not available. As such, we can only launch the TIE Experimental starfighter designs we have aboard for our protection. Additional Note ---------------- This is the first mission in what is intended to be a range of free missions featuring the VSD Sinister and the Experimental TIE designs of the Science Office.
