Not my favorite entry into this series. First two missions require inspection of bases, third was unnecessarily difficult even at lower difficulty levels, and another Praetorian battle without the TIE/Pr, featuring instead the TIE/A and TIE/D.
A solid Praetorian Battle. Storyline feels tacked on, and points lost due to it essentially being the same mission 3 times in a row. Completed on Medium, because Hard was near on impossible. Decent source of FCHG points
I liked these missions a lot, they were pretty good and the progression is there too. I'm not really sure about the story because I didn't really see it, but the missions flowed well. You get to fly a variation of craft and choose your way to the solution on some of them. Would recommend you play it.
Find a new battle... this one is mostly a filler. :P Play it for completion points or because I somehow arose your curiosity. It's ok, nothing memorable about it.
I played on Easy. It's a pretty lackluster Battle on Easy. The first two missions are simply inspection missions. I played the 2nd mission with no lasers or shields, I just inspected things and never got shot at once. Make sure to take Bombs or Heavy Rockets for Mission 3, you have to kill an Interdictor by yourself. Spending 20 minutes killing it with lasers wasn't fun. The fourth mission is extremely quick and there's not much to it.
That was one of the most boring battles I've flown. Only inspection most of the time, and when something else comes it isn't interesting as well. And where's TIE Praetor?
A Prae battle without the T/Pr isn't much fun, besides the battle was pointless after all Prae already has a home on the DGN Lichtor V.
Although im not much into recon missions, I think this battle is pretty cool... It is VERY hard on Hard difficulty, and u have to have some tactical plan to be able to complete the objectives and not get killed by a bunch of missiles along the way. Great job!
In the future, base your ratings on what the *missions* are like, not because you are a bit unhappy cause it doesn't have a ship patch (which not everyone can actually use)
Too simple for me to give it a 3...the plotline and the missions themselves had these repetitive simple orders and goals. Overall, at least its bugless. Keep working on it Chris.
