Section 1: Pre-Split

The story of House Qel-Droma, the Krath House of Clan Arcona, is one of triumphs and tribulations. The below record is a combination of many different authors, as each Quaestor has left his or her own legacy on this great House. The record is a swirl of names, but by careful reading one can see clearly the effects that people can have on organizations even as powerful as this Krath House of Arcona. - Editor

Many years ago, the small Dark Brotherhood was becoming more and more powerful. During the revival of then-House Arcona, the Grand Master at the time, Khyron, decreed that the membership of the Brotherhood be re-organized with each current House becoming a Clan comprised of multiple Houses. This meant that the original House Arcona was re-christened as House Galeres and, to honor the mighty Dark Jedi Ulic Qel-Droma, it was decided the second house would be named House Qel-Droma. The newly created House Qel-Droma was located on Phoenicia, Coronoada's second planet, and its leader was Quaestor Shark.

As the new Clan in the Coronada System was created, a fellow Clan, Scholae Palatinae, was suffering. Soon it was decided by the Dark Council, that all the members of Scholae Palatinae were to be transferred to House Oriens Obscurum, and then relocate Oriens Obscurum to Clan Arcona, and thus Clan Arcona and the Coronada System had three Houses worth of Dark Jedi.

Not long after Khyron announced the creation of the Clans, he ordered another massive restructure of the Dark Brotherhood. No longer would Houses contain members from all the Orders; they would now be Order-specific, and each clan was to have one Krath, one Sith and one Obelisk House. Since Galeres had traditionally been the bastion of the strong Obelisk warriors and had Dark Jedi Master Blazer, a former Commander-of-the-Guard as their Quaestor, it was natural for Galeres to become the Obelisk House. As their namesake Ulic Qel-Droma was a powerful warrior who had unsurpassed knowledge of Dark Side lore, House Qel-Droma was the obvious choice as the Krath House for Clan Arcona with the powerful Archpriest Gavron at its helm. Oriens Obscurum then became the Sith House of Arcona.

With a large number of successful projects under his belt at this time, Grand Master Khyron elected to retire (this was a welcome change as most other Grand Masters had found their retirement at the wrong end of various assasination attempts). Upon the retirement of Khyron, the long serving Master-At-Arms, Thedek was appointed to the Iron Throne. As a result of Thedek's ascension, Nighthawk was promoted to Master-At-Arms and Gavron left the leadership of Qel-Droma to become the new Consul for Clan Arcona. Shortly after this change in leadership House Qel-Droma's numbers swelled to the point of the House needing to create a second Phyle, leaving Qel-Droma with the Phyles Dark Orb and the Loreseekers. Sadly, a decline in membership forced the closure of the Loreseekers Phyle soon after its creation, leaving Dark Orb as the lone Phyle once again.

Over the next few years House Qel-Droma increased in size again, and again had enough members to warrant the creation of a second Phyle. This second Phyle was re-instated under the command of Jedi Hunter Cyrax Lionheart; sadly Cyrax never completed any exploits as he was found dead in his chambers one morning shortly after taken command. Succeeding Cyrax was a recent graduate of the Shadow Academy, Acolyte Kaiann. At this time the House Quaestor Alex resigned and Archpriest Mejas Doto was appointed Quaestor in his place.
