Section 5: Organization

Officers will usually be deployed as precinct forces before being split into smaller squads, each commanded by a senior officer. A forward command post will operate in the vicinity, from which precinct commanders can observe and direct their men, usually from a Chariot skimmer. All communications are relayed here allowing for a full and total view of the crowd and the officers attempting to control it.

In reserve there will also be a number of squads ready to plug any holes made in shield walls, or to redeploy if a particular area's forces require reinforcement. These response forces are usually vehicle mounted to ensure a a rapid deployment.

Behind the forward lines conventional officers will be involved in processing miscreants and arrested citizens pulled from the crowd. These will be detained temporarily until the crowds disperses, at which point they will be either released or charged and brought to trial for civil insurrection and attempting to overthrow Imperial law. Interrogators may attempt to discern additional information regarding the motives or figureheads of these crowds, to better respond and cripple them.
