('He did what?!' exclaims Captain Wietu, surging from his chair at the Rho Commander's desk.

Nix, the R2D7 droid, continues his beeps, whistles, and chirps.

'A merchant craft, buzzing through an active patrol? He's gonna need to be tested for Death Sticks when he gets back.'

The droid continues his sonorous tones, a touch more apprehensively.

'And he came back early? And he broke the comms silence we imposed? Nix - I need a full time stamped detailed report of these logs to forward to command for his record.  Yes yes, no harm occurred this time, I get it. But send me over all the information immediately from what you intercepted across the fleet data streams.  That was DEFINITELY him.'

In a quiet whir of wheels and turns, the droid approaches the side wall of the office, extends his data input/output device, and connects to the ship's central computer.

Captain Wietu' head falls downward, eyes closed. He breathes deeply. With a determined calm restored, he presses the button on the comms buzzer to announce to the flight deck:

'Someone send that Balosaran wild card to my office IMMEDIATELY.'

He cracks his knuckles and turns towards the keypad.)

The Commander begins composing this week's message on the terminal.

Greetings, as per ever, my Comrades in Black.

Our efforts in this year's Raise the Flag exercises continue to impress - now standing at roughly two thirds of the way through the exercise.  As of the writing of this report, we are sitting comfortably in 7th place out of 15 squadrons in the active duty Tie Corps - so far having amassed 2237 points towards the glory of the ISDII Warrior!  What impresses me most is the steady activity - essentially hitting around 750 points per week so far.

We have now seen the contributions to the Imperial Library and Records expected from LT Alexandre 'ossusplayz' Morgan, with a surprise entry for this Commander submitted by SQXO LCM Westric Davalorn.  The latter contributor netted second place overall as judged by the Fleet Command Staff personally, and the former contributor netted a tenth place overall award as well.  We still expect a submission from LCM Cray Xerious.  My immense respect to you all for your efforts.

With the renewed dedication and energy in the squadron, SQXO LCM Westric Davalorn and I will soon examine our roster and flight positions for possibilities to better balance our flights and better pair Flight Leaders with Flight Members fitting the expertise of the Flight Leaders supervising them.

As you have now no doubt heard, by the narrowest of circumstances, LT vapinvanman has escaped court martial despite his antics during his return from his home planet.  As a whole, I am grateful for that outcome so that as a squad we can move forward again on the positive morale we are building despite the distractions he caused for some few days this week.

May the data be as kind to us all the rest of this month as it was to LT vapinvanman - who this Commander is certain got away with more than could be proven.

Until a new Emperor is seated and the Rebellion is forever crushed!

• Massive congratulations are due to LT Alexandre 'ossusplayz' Morgan - joining the recent burst of TCCORE success with a 100% perfect score which means he also outdid his Commander's test result.
• Speaking of which, with the fiction success achieved by LT Alexandre 'ossusplayz' Morgan and one monthly merit medal on his record, we anticipate his promotion to Lieutenant Commander sometime in November.
• We have yet to fill that final open slot in Rho! Will it be another one of Davalorn's recruits? Will fr0Zen add his second recruit to the roster? Might someone else step up? 
• It's been really great to see the continued active #Rho channel on discord and the camaraderie with multiple group flight nights each of the last two weeks.
• The Squadron Activity Report below includes all activity since my last report on 10/06, so the data is from 10/07 - 10/21, including the most recent submissions that have been approved.

Most of these competitions take very little effort, and even just participating is enough to count as points towards monthly merit medals.  Always be sure to inform your Flight Leader of the competitions in which you participate so that your Flight Leader can be sure that you get credit each month.

Fortunately for us all, no location intelligence or strategic priority were compromised by his maneuvers and his punishment has been limited to daily swabbing of the hangar deck at 0400 hours. 

If he is not too exhausted from his duties and you find him available to share holo-images from his betrothal, I can report they are worth viewing and celebrating with him.
