 COO REPORT #12
FROM: COO/RA John T. Clark
TO: whole TC
DATE SUBMITTED: January 20th 2019
 NEWS
Though we have seen several more SC players in the LoC and LoS listing, though nobody of these has submitted any screenshots to TIE Corps on Recon or TIE Corps vs AI, which makes Woody win again, with just one win more than the second placed contestant, something that could have been shaken up by more than three of these...

In other news, our freshly minted Lieutenant Commander Seppen is looking for parties interested in some pen&paper SW D6 roll playing via Discord. Interested parties should reply via the maling list.

Note that due to the arrangement of the first five calendar weeks, the month in regard to TCoR and TCvsAI will continue until February 1st. All the Kill Board based monthly competitions will, of course, end with January 31st.

 COMBAT EVENTS
COO's Monthly Challenge 2020 - whole TC

This Combat Event will be for the Distinguished Flying Cross. Your goal will be to submit a victory screenshot with the highest number of kills + half assists you can get in one round of and Star Conflict PvP matches. For this event, Assists are counted, but only at half weight and we round down. If a pilot finishes a match with 10 kills and 5 Assists, the score for the match would be recorded as 12. Submissions to this competition are made through the database like any other 24/7 LoC submission. While processing LoCs, the COO and COOA keep an eye out for new personal bests and update a shared spreadsheet.

When a pilot has won the DFC 3 times in a row, he cannot win it in the fourth month. His points will be tracked, but not counted for the Combat Event. For his efforts, he will be rewarded with a IS-SW.

1: GN Elwood the Brave

 COO RIDDLE 2020
Every week I will include an encoded transmission or question in my COO report. Your task will be to decode the transmission or answer the question.

The code will be different every time, and the solution must be an readable and understandable English sentence. Questions must be answered in appropriate form.
The theme of the transmission will be the Star Wars based.

The first pilot sending the correct answer to the mailing list wins and get an IS-BR. 5th victory will be updated to an IS-SR, 10th to an IS-GR and 25th to an IS-PR.
The 2nd pilot who send the correct answer to the list will be given 3 points, the 3rd pilot 2 points and everyone else 1 point. Those points will be summed up: 10 points will give you a IS-BR and 25 points an IS-SR.

This week's transmission:
“V frafr terng srne va lbh, Fxljnyxre. Lbh unir ungr. Lbh unir natre. Ohg lbh qba’g hfr gurz.”

 FINAL WORDS
The next report should arrive on time on February 1st. I've noted the suggestions in regard to my Euro-centric timescale in regard to the COO's Riddle and will attempt to vary my report submission in a about a 12 hour window on Saturdays. And to mention it again: Any participation will lead to a medal eventually, I don't quite understand why I had only exactly  two submissions for every of the past weeks. If any of the 'non-winners' had submitted answers, they would be all but guaranteed a IS-BR after Report #14.

respectfully submitted
