CMDR/MAJ Lohr Zadash reporting in for Hammer Squadron.

Squadron News

  • Hammer Squadron manages 100% participation in Phases I and II in the OCR III. An excellent effort by one and all. At the moment at the close of Phase II the wing stands 10 full points ahead of the title defender: the ISD Immortal and her crew. More note worthy is the fact that 20 of the 25 points are a result of excellent participation in each phase. Again a fine job, well done!
  • Tiger bails out on us, he goes one leave. Now before you all grab your baseballs bats and/or remains of our morale officer, Steve the Cricket bat, take note the it was unavoidable due to the fact he and his family in RL are moving to a new home. Best wishes go to you and yours Tiger, here's to hoping it brings better/more stable Internet access to you as well.
  • Operation SMACKDOWN is announced. It's time that we had a hectic week. I know you guys love for it, so here it is, fly FREE-TIE 113: Sword vs. Hawk Squadron. The current High Score holder is GN Compton with a score of 77,113. Got get 'im boys and girls. It's time to take down Teth squadron! Note: the comp has been approved for some time now, but due to orders from the Wing Commander concerning the Flagship competition, I stalled it. A perfect way to get warmed up for Phase III.
  • CPT Shae Kitane was awarded an Imperial Security Medal for serving as XO and Flight Leader in a proficient way during February.
  • MAJ Lohr Zadash had to endure the merciless heckling of his superior this week, GN Ricaud along with his sidekick GN Steve 'puff nuts' the Cricket Bat, morale officer over the terrible malady that had struck his pet rabbit Wiggles. Saytr and Licker guinea pigs, who live with the cute little rabbit seem to have stimulated their roomate back into health. After examination by an animal care professional in the Science Office, it seems that the runny eye diagnosis was incorrect. Seems to be that Wiggles is enjoying his pig pals a little too much. Enough said :P Note: That’s the last time I take my sister's advice to get some animals to keep away the homesickness. Shite! I'm stuck with perverted pets.
  • Looks like Steve's back from the dead folks. And here I was sure that wood chipper would be the end of him :P Note: He's sawdust and glue now. Now….to find a bucket of water and a sledge hammer….
  • Phase III for the OCR III will commence on the 21st and run to the 31st of March 2001.

Squadron Status

  • It's HAMMER TIME! It's time to do what we do best, FLY! Phase three, the home stretch of the Flagship competition, starts tomorrow. Get ready to Rock and roll!
  • One man down till the 26th, the date LCM Tiger returns from leave. We'll be waiting for you.

Miscellaneous

Without further adieu, this week' s column from our XO CPT Kitane.

XO's Corner

Hello Squadron. Just a quick note to you.

Thank you, Darkstar, thanks Tiger and Lohr. I really appreciate that all of you have contributed to the second round of ECR. Your effort will help us to get another 10 points ahead. Hehe.

I have talked to the headmistress of the Relentless day care and she is happy to provide us with a cute little girl who will hand Mr. Jarak a bunch of flowers upon his arrival...

Anyways, I’m looking forward to the flying phase. See you there.

Yours,

FL/CPT Shae Kitane/Hammer 3-1/Wing IX/ISD Relentless

Always sweet, always sexy and just a hint of DANGER makes this XO an officer to die for. Be careful not to disappoint her, she just might ask you to.

This week I'm instituting two new features to these reports. The Rumor Mill will be featured each week with hottest gossip from around the wing and other places. Be warned these are just RUMORS and may or may not be true. The following are supplied for entertainment purposes only. The Second is, no, not weekly quotes…but WEEKLY MISQUOTES. Yes, these people didn't say the following but…they could have. And people thought freedom of expression should be a right….

* We'll see how long this stays alive ;)

The Rumor Mill

  • Admiral Quake thinking of resigning as Lord Ambassador? A little puppy with a sore side says it just might be so.
  • Crossbow Squadron to be re-opened? Looks like somebody in Praetorian wants a place on the Relentless. The more the merrier I say, bring 'em all aboard!
  • The Commodore of the Colossus has a bone to pick with the Battle Groups Commander? With all the whining coming from Wing Commanders, the suspecting thoughts from Squadron Commanders and, downright accusations of underhanded dealing from Commodore's of other ships about the Relentless' astounding lead; who knows where the truth could get lost in all the hot air.
  • Along the same note, sources tell me that if the whining doesn't stop concerning the OCR III and the results, the BGCOM could just end up canceling the whole damn thing and picking the Relentless anyway. Now that’s what I call exercising you're authority.
  • Steve the Cricket Bat isn't dead, it was all a ruse and MAJ Lohr Zadash's and MAJ Dan Malaktos' asses are in a sling for accidentally sending their wing commander's prized pool cue with case to its dusty demise. Rumor has it these boys could be paying for this stunt, for years to come.
  • Rumor has it a certain Lord Ambassador has been spending time under certain high level Command staff officers to earn promotions and commendations. From a undisclosed IRC log: *** Kweek has quit IRC (Whee! Bring back the cuddly, warm, friendly XO.) It just makes you kind of wonder.
  • BTg0d demands a sacrifice and has taken WC/GN Ricaud's hostage refusing to allow him to send mail, but strangely allowing him to receive it. The rumor mill has it AD Maldon has suggested the good General open a Hotmail account or risk forfeiting the last phase of the Flagship competition. On a similar note, sources close to the General say that he is confident the Relentless can win with minimal participation in the final round. Guess only time will tell.

Major Zadash loves a great hush hush of the record rumor. Have something you know that you shouldn't and are just itching to tell someone? Drop me a line. You might not be a star in the subject's book, but you'll surely be one in mine.

Weekly Misquotes

  1. <`Tiger> Quit licking me! <MAJDanMal> But I like it!
  2. <Lohr> Beeeeer? Seeeeeeeex < MAJDanMal> sounds good Lohr, Bend over <Lohr> Dan! not in a public place! <MAJDanMal> ooops...sorry * MAJDanMal blushes
  3. <Ramos> rk, I'm stuck on a boat with Andy! RAPE! RAPE! :P
  4. <Lohr> I like to suck Ramos' penis! It's so small and juicy!

This is it folks, your chance to frame someone just for kicks. In just harmless fun make something up and put your favorite victim in the dialogue. It's mustn't be true, but probable and perhaps a little believable. Remember, we're aiming for humor here, not downright lies :P

From the CMDR:

My fellow pilots, recently I've been looking back over the past few months of activity. And I must say I'm indeed proud of this Squadron's…your accomplishments. You've come from a semi-active squadron aboard the Colossus to the cream of the cream aboard the Relentless. You've proven yourselves without a doubt that you are the very finest pilots to be found. You've shown where there is a will there is a way. You've shown me the true meaning of teamwork. And to that I say, You have the right to hold your head high and remember where you came from. As we go into the final phase of the Flagship competition, its time we as a squadron, as a wing show the rest of the Battle Groups, WHY IT IS that Jarak belongs here on this ship. It's time to show, what The Fighting Ninth is all about. Unity has gotten us this far, righteous pride will bring the BGCOM home.

[salute]
