- This week's rant:

The Squadron League is over for us and I just got a new kitty.
With the announcement of the final rounds of the SL, we all jumped into action, but now that they're over our butts became planted in the comfy chairs faster than they got out. Well evidenced by the fact that for two days now I have been playing with my new kitty named "Wu".

I think it is very important for us not to loose the charge we received when the SL came back. We need to fly a few missions or get into a comp. Which is one of the reasons why I just proposed a Sov-wide "Top Gun" competition. If the WCs go for it, you can expect details in the near future. Which means we'll be having another internal comp soon and Brian's title will go up for grabs. Last week I also sent a proposal to Astatine concerning a "graduate" level course for IWATS tentatively titled "Career Management". I, of course, expect no reply from him, but we'll see.

So that's it. I suggest that until we can get a comp going everyone stay fresh by flying a free mission or a battle. If you need to know which one, just consult Mr. Ixion. And for those of you with XWA, try some multi-player flying or join the new Ladder (http://www.imperialacademy.org/ladder/join.asp)
