It was a room completely devoid of light. The only light came from the green monitor display that vaguely
illuminated a person in the Imperial Naval Officer uniform sitting behind the desk. Through the thick smoke the
officer rised a hand and took a smoke and inhaled deeply. Exhaling thick smoke into the monitor display the officer
grinned wickedly and pressed the enter button on the keyboard.
"Message sent. Standby for delivery confirmation..... Delivery confirmed: Lieutenant Commander Peh, Commander
Dharus, Captain Tarkin, Commander Fraggle Hawk, Lieutenant Commander Xura Verr, Commander Death,
Commander Raven and Lieutenant Commander Dax Corrin. Thank you for using Imperial Holonet services."
"Exellent, now the fun begins..." murmoured Colonel NiksaVel to himself and rised from his chair. "Computer,
lights on!"
Soon afterward...
"Darling, did I ever tell you how I took out a rebel Mon Calamari cruiser all bay myself back in the old Imperial
Navy?" asked LCM Peh and put his arm around his new sweetheart he met down on Aurora. Before she could reply,
his Comlink came to life ...
"Damn it! Damn it! DAMMIT!!! Gotta run dear, I'll call you when I come back planetside..."
"Upload finished. Thank you for using Imperial Holonet services." CM Dharus just grinned and went to access the
public recruition Holosite of the New Republic Navy. Staring back at him and laughing madly on the screen were
the late Emperor and Lord Darth Vader.
"Another point for the Empire" thought CM Dharus to himself and smiled, when his comlink came to life...
When the call came, CPT Tarkin, CM Fraggle Hawk and LCM Xura Verr were in the hangar of the ISD Intrepid,
admiring the new black paint job of their X-wing fighters. After listening to the message, Captain Tarkin grinned
and looked at the two of his pilots
"Gentlemen, the time has come to take this beauties in some action!"
A whole pack of Imperial doctors were working hard saving the life of critically wounded stormtrooper who was
brought into the medbay after a boarding operation that didn't go quite well.
"Doctor Death, you have a maximum priority message!" an excited nurse exclaimed after rushing into the OR.
"Didn't I tell you to hold all calls?" asked cooly Dr. Death not taking his eyes of the patient.
"Sir, you said to call all calls unless it's from Colonel NiksaVel, and... it is Colonel NiksaVel." replied the nurse.
"Gentlemen, I have to run, be kind and take over" commander Death said already taking off his surgeon gloves...
It was the deep space and the most peculiar thing was happening. Two T/As were trying to destroy each other but
neither was able to even hit the other... then risking everything one T/A activated the hyperdrive, and immediatelly
aborted the jump effectively coming to a complete halt. The other TIE tried to match speed, but was too slow and
helplessly overflew him. Inside the cockpit of the stationary TIE the pilot smiled "I have you now Corrin!"
And that instant the world came to a halt and a blue window opened up in the center of the cockpit with a simple
message
"MATCH ABORTED! Maximum priority message recieved."
"Drat and double drat!!! Yelled Commander Raven as the Combat chamber doors started opening...

I know you thought I have abandoned our cause, but I had some urgent and undelayable bussiness to take care of
back home. Do not think that I have deserted or anything, Admiral Priyum was well informed of my mission and
whereabouts. I am glad to report that the situation has been resolved and I am back to active duty now.
I most certainly hope that you all had nice holidays and relaxed because now we are going into the standard Avenger
squadron hyperactivity! There will be no rest until we have destroyed all available rebels and their sympathizers and
until we are well known and recognized as the best and most ELITE squadron of the entire Galactic Empire! Today
is a new beggining, a new day for the Empire and for the Avengers! From now on nothing will stop us in our march
of glory.

VICTORY SHALL BE OURS!!!
Before we start, I would like to inform you that we have a member less then the last meeting. Say goodbye to
Captain Archon who left us recently to become the Commander of his own. We wish you all best in your new
position, and if you ever get stuck up in a difficult situation, don't hesitate to call up on the Avengers to come *ease
up* the situation :) Farewell friend!
Now, let's get down to bussiness. After the completion of the ASF:SC, aside from the regular online compets, things
have been rather slow. NO MORE!
I am presenting you the Avenger exclusive "Avenger Victory competition"...

- THE AVENGER VICTORY COMPETITION -
The Victory Competition will be our own little competition striving to excell the Avenger squadron and it's pilots as
the squadron with the highest number of Battle Citations. So, we are talking single player flying here. Us being the
ASF elite squadron, I will only count XvT, BoP and XWA battles for this one.
The goal: To obtain citations in all fleet XvT, BoP and XWA battles for the Avenger squadron. But this competition
will not only work for individual activity, it will have to be teamwork to obtain citations and through that I
encourage you all to mail the squadron if you encounter any problems with the battles and use our msg board at
http://avengermb.tsx.org.
Here are the rules:
1. The two pilots that first finish all fleet XvT and BoP battles get ISM.
2. As the Avenger squadron obtains a citation, all pilot scores for that battle will be checked out and displayed, with
the pilot who won the highest number of points win an ISM.
3. Further expansions are possible, so standby for more updates (including more medals, and possibly some PCs and
BSs...)
Just fly the battles and submit the pilot files to me as you usually so, I assure you that the BSFs should run more
smoothly from now on. Also, do not overlook the fact that there is a whole bunch of medals to be won here, if you
are good and fast enough to grab them :)
P.S. By all fleet battles I mean TC, DB and IW XvT/BoP/XWA battles.

We have no Avenger specific competition at this time, but I encourage you all to attend to as many fleetwide
competitions and rack up those LoCs :) If you have any special target squadron you think we should challenge, talk
to me.

One more thing before I get down to the activity reports... the Avenger squadron Battle board is an exellent source to
check out which missions to fly when you have nothing better to do... so get to it and check out if your record is up
to date. It is possible that not all of your battles are reported...
