Introduction
It’s been a pretty good week for us. While
we certainly aren’t at full strength, everything points towards us reviving
completely in a matter of weeks. It won’t be long before we are taking down
other squadrons in competition. To find out more about all of this, check out

LT Mahak de Lay returns from leaveWelcome back to Mahak, who has been out of action for the past few weeks due to computer problems. Hopefully it won’t be long until he is as active as he was before. Also, Mahak has changed his e-mail address to mahak@globe.net.nz
Future competition with Hey Squadron
Wing III’s Hey Squadron have challenged us to a duel!!! I have accepted to fight against them so expect details of a new competition very, very soon on this mailing list. A win in this competition will show that we are back to a competitive level…and make other squadrons fear for their lives when we go after them next.

XWA League Combat Run #6 & Operation: Cantina Run
IIIThe competitions have as good as finished. You can still attempt to send in pilot files, but I can’t guarantee that it will be accepted. If you haven’t sent in any pilot file for these competitions, expect me to bother you throughout the entire competition with Hey Squadron.
It’s also worth noting that we done quite well. There were quite a few high scores that will certainly help us climb the XWA League table.
Communications
Message Board - I just want to remind everyone that there are a few topics of conversation going on in the Phantom Message Board. It can be found in the same neighbourhood as the main TC message boards at http://www.tiecorps.org/mb/
Mailing List You can also post on this mailing list. Simply mail Phantom_Squadron@yahoogroups.com what you would like to have posted. You could post information, start and carry on discussions, ask for help on a variety of subjects, post tips for how to do better in a competition mission, etc.
IRC Please attend #isd_immortal as often as possible on IRC. There are also the channels #emperor’s_hammer and #tiecorps, so please go there as often as you can. If you don't know how to use or get on IRC, please mail me about it and I will help you.
Immortal IRC Meeting - There is also a Ship meeting in #isd_immortal at 3pm EST (8pm GMT) every Sunday for announcements and chat. I should be there, so if you need any help with anything or just a chat with me, please show up.

New RO Site

The new, official, RECON Office has finally been completed. There has been many problems with getting this web site up. One of those was getting mail from CrystalTech, who my webmaster, Aylius "Judge" Khan believed would be the best choice - and I also believe that they are. Right now, there still needs to be some updates on the site, so please be patient. The new RECON Site can be found at: http://www.eh-recon.org/.

Orders
- Await your next orders. We’ll be destroying Hey Squadron very soon.
- Take part in as many multiplayer competitions as you can (more info can be found at http://www.tiecorps.org/combat/)
- Attend IRC as often as possible. Remember that as well as #emperor's_hammer and #tiecorps, there is also an #ISD_Immortal room. If you need any help getting on IRC and using mIRC (or whatever) mail me. ISD Immortal meetings are on at 3pm EST in their channel.
- Post on the Phantom Message Board more often. It can be found in the Squadron Forums on http://www.tiecorps.org/mb/
- Recruit!!! If I can do it, ANYONE can!!!
- Give me some BSFs to do. If there are
any missions you haven't flown, then get flying. If you've completed them
already, then why not go for the highscores as they may be useful in a
future competition.
