Epsilon Squadron Weekly Report #82 – 15th July 2013

CMDR-TCS-PROF/COL Dunta Polo here reporting in for Epsilon. It’s been a rough start to the month, but things are getting back on track.

Lt Colonel Gyssler continues to perform well after his promotion last month, participating in all relevant competitions and maintaining a 100% report rate. Once again he swept Epsilon’s Pilot of the Month competition, collecting another IS-BR. Lt Colonel Quincy Nelson continues to fulfil his role as Flight III Leader, while Commander Infamus moved to the reserves.

Rear Admiral Crsepe is the new Combat Operations Officer for the Emperor’s Hammer, said to be among the most active multiplayer pilots in recent months. A TIE Corps veteran (joining in 2000), Crsepe was previously Flight II Leader in Gamma squadron. I look forward to the implementation of his new ideas for MP organisation.

Gamma’s veteran commanding officer, Colonel Mark Schueler, recently stepped down from his position in the TIE Corps. However, he remains present in the Emperor’s Hammer Logistics Office, and will continue that role for the foreseeable future. Major Elwood the Brave was selected as the new Gamma commander.

Karana Phase 3 (X-Wing vs TIE Fighter) began on 5th July, and the deadline for submissions is 23:59 GMT on 19th July. Top 3 scorers for the battle will receive an IS-GR, IS-SR, and IS-BR respectively. Mission high scores can also qualify entrant for additional medals. The squadron with the highest participation by number of pilots will earn those entrants an additional IS-BR. This squadron then becomes the TCCOM’s Escort Squadron until the next phase.

Lt Colonel Dempsey, commander of Delta squadron, has been promoted to Colonel for maintaining exceptional performance. Lt Commander Kroan, also of Gamma squadron, has also been promoted to the rank of Commander.

Karana phase 3 (an XvT battle) has been launched.


Wing I News


Colonel Mark Schueler resigned as Gamma CMDR.

MAJ Elwood the Brave was appointed as the new Gamma CMDR.

Delta CMDR, Lt Colonel Dempsey, has been promoted to Colonel.

1) Ace of the TIE Corps


Start Date: March 1, 2013
End Date: December 31, 2013
Groups involved: Entire TC
Awards: IS-GW/SW/BW monthly for the top 3 pilots on the website's Kill Board IS-PW/GW/SW/BW for the top 4 pilots at the end of the year
Description: Each mission flown earns you a point for the competitions. Whoever scores most points win. Each mission only counts once. The numbers on the killboard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied; missions not yet processed will count towards the next month.


2) Karana Phase 3

Start Date: July 5, 2013
End Date: July 19, 2013
Groups involved: TIE Corps
Awards: IS-GR/SR/BR
Description: Top 3 scorers for the battle overall will receive an IS-GR/SR/BR respectively. At the closing of the comp the pilot holding any of the mission high scores will be awarded an IS-BR, if they hold two this will be an IS-SR, if three or more an IS-GR. The squadron with greatest participation will be named TCCOM's Escort Squadron until the next Karana flight phase, all pilots within that squadron who flew will receive an additional IS-BR. Participation will be assessed simply on number of pilots, not as any percentage or similar measure, as per Phase 2 of the competition.
