Greetings,

ok, welcome to the first Tornado Briefing I will issue. First of all, I would like to thank all Flag Officers and CMDRs of the Challenge for their warm welcome, and I would like to welcome CMDR/BG Nist too aboard the Challenge...

ISD CHALLENGE/FLEET NEWS

First, FA DV has resigned as FO... the new FO is AD Kawolski. The new Flight Office, and the HTMLized Roster is located at: http://members.aol.com/akawolski/flightoffice/
Aboard the Challenge, I have to report to you the resignation of CMDR/BG Virgo/Thunder after having been court-marshalled. In the same time, CMDR/BG Jack/Tempest has resigned and has been replaced by CMDR/BG Nist.

AWOL CHECK

Everyone has replied to me, except GN Shiva. His Email address doesn't work, if you can contact him, please tell him to report to me asap before I remove him of the roster by the end of the month. I am still waiting for your EH records ( when you joined, battles played...etc and which Gameplatforms (XvT,TIE..) you have)

COMPS

-Due to the fact that GN Dave and CM Jofus can't use TIE for now, I delay the Tornado Monthly TIE Comp.
-The Tornado Banner Comp is still on, I am waiting for your submissions. Deadline October 24th, an ISM for the winning one. If I get none, I will use the banner located on BG thrax's old Tornado page.
-WC/LG Tron is still looking for a Wing Motto. ISM for the winner.
-The Training officer has just posted a new Fleet-wide comp on the TO site. You will have to fly EH Battle 80 mission 1.Go to http://members.aol.com/GMFChuck/to/comp.htm for more details. The Battle file can be found on my old Teth Site at http://members.xoom.com/jmc00/Teth/ in the library section (soon in the Tornado site). The deadline is October, 17th, send me the tfr files for the 16th. Iron Star to win for hot-shot pilots.

TORNADO HISTORY PROJECT

Tornado Squadron has a long history behind him...I would like it not to be forgot, so I would like a volunteer to retrieve all that can be from the history of the Squadron, ie CMDRs, Members (thougher!), Awards etc... There is a lot of work, and it will be rewarded at its measure, if WC/COM agree. Report to me if you are interested with the job.

Some news from the Dark Brotherhood. 'Deep Strike' operation has been released ! the Sith part of the competition is a TIE/XvT single mission flying.

Now you can take the IWATS Core courses (for IWATS graduation), but also the IRC courses, and the IIC courses.
