Wing News
The Wing Commander's Own competition has begun, with a deadline of June 26. All pilots are to fly FM-TIE 137 (Baker's Dozen) for this one. All pilots should also be aware that our Commodore (Ricaud) has prepared some new Standing Orders for all Relentless pilots. They aren't official yet, but be prepared. Taking another look at Spear's standing orders should give you some idea of what's in store.

Squadron News
As announced in the Wing News section, the WCO competition this time out involves FM-TIE 137. ALL pilots in Spear are REQUIRED to fly this mission by June 26, as announced on the SpearSquad mailing list last week. If you can't fly, I need your reasons IN WRITING by the deadline. I expect to see all of you flying this time. If you don't do so, and don't have a good reason, there will be problems. Lack of activity results in pilots being transferred to the Reserves.

If, for any reason, you are unable to fly, report to me and let me know what's going on.

Should you be looking for a good mission to fly, let me recommend CAB 3. It's not your usual 'kill all Rebels' mission, and it deals with some of the EH's history. It's also fairly bug-free. Give it a try if you've got the time.

Work continues on the Spear Squadron story I mentioned a couple of reports back. It should be done in time for the next Dark Sentinel. If you'd like to see the latest version, e-mail me and let me know.
