Squadron News
--------------

-That's it gentlmen of Sin. We have two brand new pilots. Let me welcome both LT Steel and our just promoted LT John Doe to Sin Squadron again and to their first weekly squadron report.

-LT John has flown a couple battles and has already scored a high score for TC-122. Keep up the great work! That goes for all of you.

-That puts the squadron at a healthy number of 8. There's room for just four more pilots so see if you can recruit from the Daedalus Platform.

-The squadron site is updated as usual and new uniforms have been issued to LT Steel and LT John. Keep an eye on your uniform to see the physical progress in the TieCorps.

-Just 4 more days left to turn in the pilot file for TC-122 for the Sin+Psi vs Praetorian match. If you haven't flown it yet, I suggest you start the first mission today and do one per day until the 25th.

Squadron Orders
---------------

Fly TC-122 for the Sin+Psi vs Praetorian match. It's based on average score. I'm kindly asking that you fly the battle on HARD. If you decide to fly the battle on EASY and get 2000 pts for each mission, you'll drag the team score down. And then Calias and Carl will look at us from afar drinking happily.

For the Wing II Where's Squeaker competition, fly TC-107
-at random times of January, Inkwolf will order missions to be flown and must be turned in within 24 hrs of that order. So keep your eyes peeled through mail and on the Wing 2 messageboard
-SEARCH THE FLEET!!!!
Sergeant Akela and Melvin will be making a search
of the Emperor's Hammer. Each day in January, a message will be posted on one of the EH messageboards, possibly with a clue
as to where the next post will appear. Can you
keep up to Akela and Melvin? Post a reply to
their message within 24 hours to prove your
Squeakorienteering prowess!
Several Wing 2rs and myself have been posting but it's not too late to join the fun. Just check the first message on the Wing 2 messageboard to catch up to the following messages on the other ones.
-GATHER SATELLITE SPY PHOTOS!!!!
Submit a graphic showing Squeaker's current location!
-PRIVATE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING!
Write a work of, er, documentary dealing with the
disappearance and return of Squeaker!
-Not only will medals be awarded in each category,
but there will also be medals for whoever
participated the most! If, in Inkwolf's opinion, the
wing has not shown any particular effort, medals
will not be awarded. So be sure to take part.
Send all TFRs to me, CPT Stele Pellaeon, send all
graphics and fiction files to Inkwolf directly (cc your
CMDR!) Good luck to all, and may your Squeaker
hunt be successful!

We're still working on our next citation for TC-26 but I'll postpone it for the Sin+Psi vs Praetorian match. Oh yeah, we've got one citation now because of the size of our squadron now. We had nine before but I think we'll get that back up there with these GLADIATOR Challenges.

GLADIATOR CHALLENGE is still going on between GLADIATOR CPT Mordred and CHALLENGER LT Strahd. They are flying a new battle since the previous battle had a flaw in it. Good luck to both pilots and watch out for the lions!!

As usual, check your squadron and or flight webpage to keep posted on orders and such.

Fly to your hearts content...

23:49 - HA Astatine [jpboyce@indigo.net.au]
The new Iron Star system is now officially in effect. The Training Manual has been updated with the new description and medal image. Competitions submitted for approval must now meet the new guidelines laid out. The TIE Corps and Naval Corps have been mailed. If you can't wait for the email or you're a CA or CO, you can check it out at http://www.imperialacademy.org/is-mail.htm.

ASF Commander selected...
14:14 - AD Priyum Patel [spellfire@btinternet.com]

Congratulations to Vice Admiral Chrusos "VitCarp" Ichthys" who today has been named as the new ASF Battlegroup Commander. VitCarp has shown exceptional leadership skills as Wing Commander of Wing XIII, and both myself and Admiral Theo are confident that he'll do a great job as BGCOM. Congratulations!

A Question of Faith
06:06 - HA Kawolski [absurefire@aol.com]
There's a new Fan Film out which was previewed last year in a one-minute long trailer. "A Question of Faith" starring Jason Alexander (no, not that bald guy from Seinfeld) has some hammy acting (blame it on the Force), but they make up for it with spectacular lightsaber duels!

You can download the movie here: http://www.theforce.net/theater/shortfilms/faith/index.shtml

Sov update - COM's own award
23:18 - FA Kramer [Shadowblen@aol.com]
Something important I forgot to mention in my Sov Report that just couldn't wait until Sunday.

Every month I review squadrons for the COM's Own award, and most of the time I withhold it for one reason or another. This month, I was going to award it to Sigma Squadron of Wing II, but decided that the continued level of excellence the pilots of Sigma exhibit deserves a higher honor than COM's Own.

After consultation with LC Inkwolf, I've decided to name Sigma the official escort squadron of the Sov Flag Officers for the first quarter of the year. Congratulations to all Sigmans on a job VERY well done!!

New Pulp Phantom Episode
15:32 - HA Kawolski [absurefire@aol.com]
Pulp Phantom: The Animated Parody - http://www.pulpphantom.com - This one is a lot better than the previous episodes! Listen for everyone's favorite Science Officer to make his singing debut on Obi-Wan's radio! :P

Warning: The site contains language, adult subject matter, and a fun Jawa-shooting game to play while you're waiting for the episode to load. For mature audiences only. (Oh yeah, and the porn banners are back...big ones too. err..the banners! >:P)
