Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 07.25.2000
Squadron & Fleet News:
* The most important news this week was the announcement regarding Wing II
Commander - our new Wing Commander from now on is MAJ Inkwolf! And that
means we are in the best hands in the TIE Corps - and not only because She
was a really important person in Medical Corps, as her dedication to the
Navy is could hardly be matched by any other Pilot serving right now in Wing
II!
* Wing II results for Combat Run #10 of the Squadron's League has been send
out! They were forwarded to you yesterday, so just as a short reminder and a
correction:
- we are the best Squadron in our Wing so far
- there are only 10 Pilots in our Wing with 100% Participation ratio so far
and
- 1st is MAJ Inkwolf
- 2nd is LC Arcol Delplancq of Rho Squadron
- and the last 8 of them are from our Squadron! Great flying, Brothers
Pilots!!!
* Some new information has been given out regarding Combat Run #11 of the
Squadron's League. According to the latest news it should be announced on
the 01.08.2000. This also means it will end on 14.08.2000, and hopefully all
of you will be able to take an active part in our Squadron's achievements in
this event.
* But that is not all that has been leaked out regarding Squadrons' League!
The second big news is that there will be 20 Combat Runs! Well, it looks as
the finish line is still far, far ahead, but we can, and we will make it!
* The last news about Squadrons' League is that Bronze Stars for Pilots with
100% Participation Ratio during the whole Squadrons' League are not
confirmed by one of the judges, GN Wolly. Well, lets wait a little bit for
the outcome of this, because so far no one else confirmed this information,
and another judge for this Competition, COL Gallows, had told us during his
days at the Wing II helm, that Bronze Stars will be awarded.
* Five new FCHG ranks has been added to the TIE Corps' FCHG System and the
requirements for Imperator rank has been changed. Here are the details:
500 - Legionnaire [LGNR] (replaces Imperator)
750 - Executor [EXCR]
1000 - Gladiator [GLDR]
1500 - Archon [ARCN]
2000 - Templar [TMPR]
3000 - Imperator [IMPR]
* Well, it looks as our Cantina activity, due to Holiday trips taken by some
of Sigma Pilots, is back to normal, as during last week there were about 170
messages send to it - but that still means we managed to write more than 820
this month!
* Well, LCM Duncan wasn't able to revive our Homepage before his short leave
(and our in-squadron exchange of ideas regarding its contents), but it is
almost completed and a beta version was already send to some of Sigma Pilots
for initial bug hunting - and don't worry, you will all see it really soon!
* CPT Todbringer has proposed first set of changes to our Squadron image -
please read them carefully and give him your feedback!
Squadron Status:
* There are no obligatory battles nor missions we have to fly this week due
to some Holiday trips taken by some Sigma Pilots, and since next week we
should see the beginning of the Combat Round 11, don't expect any changes
mid-week.

Miscellaneous:
* Round fifth of the second season of TIE League has been announced! The
mission to fly is Free TIE Mission 110 and the deadline is set to 19th of
July.
* Please remember that our Cantina is open to any Pilot or loyal Empire
Citizen, so if you know anyone who would like to join us feel free to invite
him (or her)! The signing process is a very simple one and requires only the
sending of a single e-mail to
replying to the confirmation message.
* Please remember, that the calendar at our Cantina homepage
