Attention, Brothers Pilots!
Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 07.04.2000
Squadron News:
* Our Wing Commander, LC Harkonnen is experiencing some serious hardware
problems and is currently cut off from the Net. But this doesn't mean our
Wing haven't got a Commander, as CM Inkwolf is currently our Acting Wing
Commander. Unfortunately I haven't received any information when LC
Harkonnen will return to his post.
* We have got first unofficial results for the Rho-Theta-Sigma Competition!
According to CM Inkwolf, our current Acting Wing Commander we are
victorious! No matter what counting method you want we are the best - even
with the latest one invented by LC Harkonnen! Of course this are only
unofficial results but nevertheless they shows that our reputation is hard
earned one - and fully deserved!
* In just two days we will have third OV awarded Pilot in our Squadron! The
Sixth of July will be remembered as the day when our current Drill Officer
and the Flight Leader of Flight II joined the TIE Corps and Sigma Squadron.
Ladies, Gentlemen - the Cantina shall be ours!
* Well, last but not least - after almost a full month I am back! With brand
new Windows and (finally) working Internet connection I'm beginning to dig
up in my mailbox so hopefully in the next few days I will be able to catch
up with the most current of our in-squadron activities.
Squadron Status:
* The final round of the Squadrons' League has been announced! The Battle to
fly is Battle 155 - The Supplies War - and the deadline has been set to 15th
of July. That means we have less than two weeks and since this battle
consists of six missions I wholeheartedly suggest we will all start flying
it as soon as possible!
* It looks as the TOC #5 has been officially cancelled by HA Astatine and no
medals will be ever given to any of it's participants but hopefully no-one
from will be in a situation of LCM Esm'ael Rasxus who still hasn't received
his Palpatine Crescent for TOC #4.
Activity Reports:
Unfortunately there will be no activity report in this report due to my very
recent Net problems and the shift at the helm - I personally decided it will
be better than to miss some of your achievements. But don't worry, I will
dig through all your mails and MSE will list it all.
Miscellaneous:
* Round four of the second season of TIE League has started! The mission to
fly is Free TIE Mission 78 and the deadline is this Saturday, so get flying!
* Please remember that our Cantina is open to any Pilot or loyal Empire
Citizen, so if you know anyone who would like to join us feel free to invite
him (or her)! The signing process is a very simple one and requires only the
sending of a single e-mail to
replying to the confirmation message.
* Please remember, that the calendar at our Cantina homepage
(www.egroups.com/group/cantina) will list all our future competitions, and
two e-mail reminders will be send to all Cantina members automagically two
and one day before any deadline.
