Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 05.15.2000
Squadron News:
* For his very good activity in April LT Obi-Kan Kysiobi has been awarded
Imperial Security Medal! Recommendation for this award has been filed in by
CM Thunder, and approved by CPT Al R.S. and GN Gallows. Congratulations,
Brother Pilot!
* We have achieved a 100% Participation Ratio in the eighth round of the
Squadrons' League - great work everyone, we showed how an Imperial Squadron
should fight!
* According to the official reports after fourth round of the Squadrons'
League we are at the second place in the entire Fleet! And, if we will only
be able to maintain our current participation ratio and high points counts,
we should be able defend this position and even beat Tornado, current best
Squadron! That is why there is even no single valid excuse for not flying
missions or battles assigned to the next Squadrons' League rounds. Our motto
from now should be: "There is no try."! I know we can and we will make it!
* After last round of the TIE League only one of Sigma Squadron pilots have
remained in the Finals - CPT Al R.S. The winner of the whole League will be
chosen in the current round, and the second edition of the TIE League will
start soon afterwards, so if you still haven't decided whether you want to
take place in this competition or not you have very little time left - any
further details can be found in the Miscellaneous section of this report.
* CM Artis has just passed by his "One year in the TIE Corps" anniversary!
Congratulations, but as unfortunately we already have one anniversary
competition up and running right now, I'm afraid a night party at Cantina is
all we can come up with for illuminating it - at least for now...
Squadron Status:
* Our Cantina competition for illuminating CPT Todbringer's "One year in the
TIE Corps" anniversary is on the loose! If you have anything what can make
former Sigma Commander happy, don't hesitate to show it in the Cantina!
* The Squadron vs. Squadron competition with Tempest is delayed, and will
probably begin 20th of May and end around 4th of June - other rules seems to
be left unchanged, so the battle is still to be chosen by Tempest.
* The next round of the Squadrons' League could start anytime now, so stay
on alert!

* A pre-session for the second round of TIE League has started! Everyone
participating in it are to fly Free Mission 16, and if anyone want to sign
in, should try to do it immediately by sending an e-mail to LC Ace Pilot at
smile577@aol.com - it is a good move, especially bearing in mind the fact,
that right now it looks like almost all Sigma Squadron pilots has signed in!
* Please remember that our Cantina is open to any Pilot or loyal Empire
Citizen, so if you know anyone who would like to join us feel free to invite
him (or her)! The signing process is a very simple one and requires only the
sending of a single e-mail to
replying to the confirmation message.
* Please remember, that the calendar at our Cantina homepage
(www.egroups.com/group/cantina) will list all our future competitions, and
two e-mail reminders will be send to all Cantina members automagically two
and one day before any deadline.
