Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 05.09.2000
Squadron News:
* For his long and exemplary service in the Imperial Navy LCM Thunder has
been put forward for a rank promotion and as of today he is Commander
Thunder. Congratulations!
* We have got our very own Drill Officer - as of today CM Thunder got some
blank orders with my sign on them so one wrong move, and anyone could find
him/herself assigned to a really, really long patrol around one of our
Cantina great landfills...
Squadron Status:
* The eighth round of the Squadrons' League is now underway - we are to fly
Free TIE Mission #105 and the deadline is set to 14th of May - actually it
is 15th of May, but to make sure every report get to our Wing Commander in
time our in-squadron deadline is one day earlier.
* The Squadron vs. Squadron competition with Tempest should begin 15th of
May - the battle is to be chosen by Tempest so that they won't have any
excuses for placing second.

* A pre-session for the second round of TIE League has started! Everyone
participating in it are to fly Free Mission 16, and if anyone want to sign
in, should try to do it immediately by sending an e-mail to LC Ace Pilot at
smile577@aol.com - it is a good move, especially bearing in mind the fact,
that right now it looks like almost all Sigma Squadron pilots has signed in!
* Please remember that our Cantina is open to any Pilot or loyal Empire
Citizen, so if you know anyone who would like to join us feel free to invite
him (or her)! The signing process is a very simple one and requires only the
sending of a single e-mail to
replying to the confirmation message.
* Please remember, that the calendar at our Cantina homepage
(www.egroups.com/group/cantina) will list all our future competitions, and
two e-mail reminders will be send to all Cantina members automagically two
and one day before any deadline.
