Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 05.01.2000
Squadron News:
* LT Quowal has been transferred to Reserves because of his accident and the
need for hospitalization. Hopefully he will soon be able to join us again -
I have asked the Command for his position to be closed for any in-going
transfers, so he should have a place to return to waiting for him.
* Our in-squadron competition has ended! The best flight is Flight III and -
in a separate ranking - we have also four pilots with a 100% participation
ratio: CPT Al R.S., LCM Thunder, LCM Roger Duncan and CPT Todbirnger -
congratulations to you all! Unfortunately, due to some unexpected
circumstances we have to wait a bit more for a awarding ceremony - as soon
as it clears up I will inform you about the outcome.
Squadron Status:
* It looks as if we are currently totally free - but considering RL
activities awaiting some of you it is a desirable situation. But stay
alert - details about eighth round of a Squadrons League could be given
anytime!

Miscellaneous:
* A pre-session for the second round of TIE League has started! Everyone
participating in it are to fly Free Mission 16, and if anyone want to sign
in, should try to do it immediately by sending an e-mail to LC Ace Pilot at
smile577@aol.com - it is a good move, especially bearing in mind the fact,
that right now it looks like almost all Sigma Squadron pilots has signed in!
* Please remember that our Cantina is open to any Pilot or loyal Empire
Citizen, so if you know anyone who would like to join us feel free to invite
him (or her)! The signing process is a very simple one and requires only the
sending of a single e-mail to
replying to the confirmation message.
* Please remember, that the calendar at our Cantina homepage
(www.egroups.com/group/cantina) will list all our future competitions, and
two e-mail reminders will be send to all Cantina members automagically two
and one day before any deadline.
