Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 17.04.2000
Squadron News:
* LT Roger Duncan has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander for
his long and fruitful service in the Imperial Fleet. Recommendation was
filled in by CMDR/CPT Al R.S. and was approved by WC/GN Gallows and Fleet
Admiral Kyle Kessler.
* Captain Todbringer has been awarded Palpatine Crescent and Imperial
Security Medal for his achievements in Beta Testing - the request was filled
in by WC-TACA/COL StarLion
* LT Regis Knox has been awarded Imperial Security Medal for his stories
send to our Squadron's Cantina. Recommendation was filled by CMDR/CPT Al
R.S. and was approved by WC/GN Gallows.
* The result of our in-squadron competition rounds four and fifth has been
posted - right now Flight III is at the first place with Flight I right
behind and Flight II on the third place.
* The rules of our in-squadron competition has been altered a little bit and
now pilots with 100% participation ratio will be awarded Palpatine Crescent
in addition to any other medals mentioned in previous set of rules (just to
remind you - members of the best flight will be awarded Imperial Security
Medal).
Squadron Status:
* The deadline for the sixth (and the last) round of our in-squadron
competition was set to 17.04.2000 (that's today) and the Battle to fly is
Battle 138 - "Battle of the TIE Interceptor". But because two Pilots have
asked me for a one more day (a hard disk crash and an older brother and his
work), the final deadline is this Thursday (19th of April) at 8:00 a.m.
* The seventh round of the Squadrons' League has started! The battle to fly
is Battle 133 - Punishment Tour. I know we have flown it already, but if
you did it on medium, try to improve, as Squadrons' League is a very
important competition - in fact this is the most important competition a TIE
Fighter based Squadron can take a place in!
* A special competition meant for illumination of the CPT Todbringer's one
year service in the Fleet was meant to start almost two weeks ago, but I
haven't heard a word from TO Astatine so it looks as we will have to wait
another week...

Competition - all you have to do is sending a message to LC Ace Pilot at
smile577@aol.com - but right now it looks like almost all Sigma Squadron
pilots has signed in!
* Please remember that our Cantina is open to any Pilot or loyal Empire
Citizen, so if you know anyone who would like to join us feel free to invite
him (or her)! The signing process is a very simple one and requires only the
sending of a single e-mail to
replying to the confirmation message.
* Please remember, that the calendar at our Cantina homepage

two e-mail reminders will be send to all Cantina members automagically two
and one day before any deadline.
