Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 10.04.2000
Squadron News:
* Commander Artyis has been awarded Grand Order of Emperor for getting a
column about Emperor's Hammer in a popular Polish Game Magazine. The request
was filed by nobody else but GA Ronin!
* Captain Todbringer has been awarded Bronze Star of the Empire for his
service in the Phoenix Project - the request was filed by CA:TAC/AD
Striker/CA-3/SSSD Sovereign
* Commander Artyis has stepped down from the position of the Flight Leader
and now flies as Sigma 3-2.
* LT Roger Duncan has been promoted to the position of Flight Leader of
Flight III and is now Sigma 3-1.
* The fourth round of TIE League Finals (Battle 119) has ended and both of
Sigma Squadron Pilots passed to the next round: in fact CM Artyis was first
and CPT Al R.S. was second! Top five Pilots for this round are: Artyis
(123240), Al R. S. (123057), Compton (121751), Ixion Deathbringer (121171)
and Daniel Bonini (118989) - as you can see differences in point are very
small! There are still seven pilots in this Competition: Al R. S., Ixion
Deathbringer, Artyis, Brandon, Compton, Daniel Bonini and Zorn Starn - I
don't know if the order means anything, but it was copied from message from
LC Ace Pilot, the Director of the TIE League.
Squadron Status:
* Still no details about next round of a Squadrons' League has been given,
but it should be anytime now.
* The deadline for the sixth (and the last) round of our in-squadron
competition is 17.04.2000 and the Battle to fly is Battle 138 - "Battle of
the TIE Interceptor". And I have been given permission to alter the rules a
little bit - more details will be given soon, but - what is for sure - the
members of the best Flight with a 100% personal participation ratio _will_
be awarded Palpatine Crescent, not ISMs!
* A special competition meant for illumination of the CPT Todbringer's one
year service in the Fleet should start as soon as I get the permission from
the TO Astatine - but I haven't heard a word from him so far...
