Commander CPT Al R.S. reporting in for Sigma Squadron on 27.03.2000
Squadron News:
* The final results for the Shield vs. Sigma Competition has been posted and
as a Squadron we are victorious! All Pilots taking place in this event: LCM
Thunder, CPT Todbringer, LT Regis Knox, LT Roger Duncan, CM Artyis, LCM
Esm'ael Rasxus, LCM Ti'Anna, LCM Gambit and CPT Al R.S. have been awarded
Imperial Security Medals! What's more CM Artyis has also won the Top Ace
title and has been awarded Palpatine's Crescent! Congratulations to you all
and good work! Unfortunately, in the Commander vs. Commander part of the
Competition I have been beaten by LC Iceman - well, I was doing my best, but
it looks as this time my skills and determination weren't enough to win...
* The results for the Third round of TIE League Finals has been posted -
unfortunately this time both CM Artyis and CPT Al R.S. have been beaten, but
fortunately they are still in the Finals. The top five places for this round
were occupied by: Daniel Bonini, Zorn Starn, Reaper, Ixion Deathbringer and
Al R. S. The pilots still in Finals are: Al R. S., Brandon, Daniel Bonini,
Ixion Deathbringer, Zorn Starn, Artyis, Compton, Reaper so it looks like the
winners known pretty soon.
Squadron Status:
* The sixth round of the Squadrons' League ends 30th of March! We are to fly
Free TIE Mission 91 - Mugaari Cargo Operation. Remember, the Squadrons'
League is our most important Competition so there is no excuse to not flying
it! And one more thing - it is much better to fly it even on Easy than not
doing it at all, especially that one of Commanders form our wing declared,
that his Squadron will achieve 12/12 participation this time - let's show
them we aren't worse, especially that this time it is a single mission!
* The fifth round of our in-squadron competition ends 03.04.2000. The battle
to fly is Battle 78, and we have to fly it on at least medium difficulty
settings, but apart from that the only thing that is important is
participation, so don't let your Flight mates down.
* The TOC #5 has not been cancelled after all, and new missions should be
posted soon, but there is still no deadline set so far.

* Because of "One Year in TIE Corps" Anniversary for CPT Todbringer there
will be an unusual Competition announced in the very near future - stay
