Okay, back to service. Although there's no desperate need of reporting -
there's a very little to do these times - we're met to try to sum-up all
Sigma Squadron members last week activities. Let's begin.
SQUADRON NEWS:
- The Marathon round 7 is over. Only 5 pilots were able to complete ordered
TIE Battle on hard difficulty. List of still participating pilots in
Squadron Status part of this report.
WING AND FLEET NEWS:
- There're plenty of most interesting threads on TIE Corps Message Center:
Firstly: the question of recommendation of awarding Imperial Crosses to
every one Praetorian Pilot for achieving 207 squadron citations, where "most
of these were played using unlimited ammo and/or invulnerability" - SA
Kawolski. What do you think about it?
Secondly: Re-instating the Baron i.e. man with the highest amount of High
Scores. Well, I think it's overall a good idea, but I'm afraid that Baron
will be person who knows how to order to hold steady to all ships in area...

Thirdly: Medal Reform Idea made by SA Kawolski. In short - there'll be
another medal strictly for winning flying competitions. It would be named an
Iron Star (with a ribbon appropriate to the level of comp) and would be
awarded instead of Imperial Service Medal (shouldn't ISM be named that
way?), Palpatine Crescent and so-on.
There's also a discussion over Grand Order of Emperor value which seems to
be obviously stripped off of its unusual character. Well, I got mine from
Fleet Commander for creating two-page SW Corner in the biggest (200 000)
Polish computer entertainment magazine - CD-Action (9 issues of SWC so far),
and I'm not sure if I deserved it in an appropriate way... But when I see
that there're people who, like one of Prae pilots, gain their GOEs for flyin
g (1277 FCHG points) I'm starting to think if I shouldn't resign from the
privilege of wearing a Ceremonial Dagger :(

Pilots, there's an opportunity to every of us gets yet another ISM. All we
need to do is fly a single TIE mission and send the result at Battlecry
Editor address. I attach the mission (along with two for XvT and XWA in case
you own it and want to fly them as well). Deadline for it - by January 6th.
BTW: there're medals for individual facet: Silver Star, Bronze Star and
Palpatine Crescent as well, but damn me if SS for completing one mission
isn't too much... :/
