Squadron news:
- Squadron League 2000 Combat Run #14, the last one of play-offs is over
for us. We've got impressive 92% participation ratio, and added over 3
millions points to the overall score. Congratulations on job very well
done, Pilots! You really make me proud! Now we have only to wait for
invitation to SL 2K Finals, which will start on October 8th...

- First combat engagement during Border Wars is also over. Participation
ratio of Sigma Squadron: 92% - 11 of 12 Pilots have submitted their
scores. It's also worth of noticing that (though we've heard during the
briefing that we should avoid engaging the Rebels), it was acceptable to
destroy Wraith Squadron T/As... Well, we'll have three rounds to
improve our results...

- Mega-Sov Competition is over. Sigma has added at least (there is still
few pending submissions) 219 points to the overall score of Wing II.
- Supreme Squadron Series, round I is closed. As I've forseen (I'm a
Sith after all... ;P ) Sigma's Pilots weren't really interested in
writing. I've got only two submissions, both of LCM Regis Knox. Maybe
next round will be "friendlier" for us...
- For some days lasts Battlecry Competition. Pilots, as we currently
haven't anything important to do I strongly encourage you to take part
in it! There's even possible to get a Silver Star in it! Further details
you'll find in Squadron Status part of this report.
- We've been contacted by Polish pilots of Crusader Squadron of
Aggressor Strike Force. They offered us to participate in their planned
Polish EH Members Meeting, and - after discussion which of our
squadrons is better - came up with an idea of "friendly alliance" of
Sigma and Crusader, respectively: single and multiplayer squadron.
I've contacted their Crusader Commander, Captain Brucmack, and received
an answer in which he stated he has nothing against it.
Alliance we're talking about states so far only encouraging each other
during competition and challenges and informing about TC and ASF
activities by sending each other Weekly Reports. Further details of it
are to talk over.
- The Duel between LCM Obi-Kan Kysiobi and LCM Haggis McMutton is over.
And the winner is... LCM Haggis McMutton! Congratulations, Hag! :)

- We have yet another certified TIE mission creator in Sigma! Lieutenant
Alexander aka. Koriel has received an confirmation he completed IWATS
TIE Mission Creation Course with very good score of 86%!

Apprentice (tm) rank. Well, we'll see. And in case he agrees - we wish
you all the worst, Captain... :P
* Squadron Status:
- Squadron League 2000 Quarterfinals preparations.
While supposing that we'll find ourselves among best eight squadrons, we
have a week to prepare ourselves for final rounds of it. Ladies,
gentlemen, all we achieved so far will mean nothing if we let other
squadron win...
- Battlecry Competition!
"[...] Now, for the boring, bureaucratic section: Rules. If you really
want to you can go to sleep here, but if you miss something and your
pilot file is ignored; hard luck!
1. ALL Mission files must be in by the 14th of October.
2. Laser Less scoring WILL be used.
3. ALL XvT and XWA pilot files must be zipped - otherwise they will be
ignored.
4. Any pilot files that have incorrect scoring or do not show scores in
standard pilot editors (see Tactical Manual) will be ignored -
basically, follow the instructions and double check your pilot file
before sending it!
5. Cheating - yes, I hate this too, but it must be said... any pilot
files suspected of cheating will be sent to AD Striker and Nightflyer.
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can.... " .
Please don't cheat.
Okay, on to the fun section: MEDALS!! I've devised a new awarding system
and yes, it has been approved by the Training Office. Medals will be
awarded
as follows:
Less than 20 participants (per platform) - ISM to top scorer.
21 to 39 participants (per platform) - PC to top scorer, ISM to second
place.
40 or above (per platform) - BS to top scorer, PC to second place and
ISM to third place.
Silver Star available!! Anyone who wins all three platforms with over 30
people participating in each platform, will win this highly idolized
medal!
Well, it does look nice on your uniform. So all you pilot whizzes who
want
more and bigger medals and have great scores on these missions, get your
little buddies to fly it so the participation is valid.
Okay, that's about it. Any questions can be sent to me. And yes, before
anyone asks, the missions have been sent to the Tactical Office to be
included in the Mission Compendium (as well as the original ones, if you
still have those tfrs), so hang on to your pilot files. And
