Squadron, Wing & Fleet News:
* MAJ Inkwolf: For your extreme excellence and high participation in every
way, COM FA Kramer has chosen your squadron, from every squad aboard the
SSSD Sovereig, as the recipient of the coveted Commodore's Own award!
Commodore Kramer speaks: It's been awhile since I awarded this puppy, but
Sigma Squadron in Wing II certainly deserves it. CMDR / CPT Al R.S. and his
Polish band of merry men are constantly active and having fun doing it.
They've got a 12 man squadron, and most importantly, they have a killer
Squadron Nickname. Congratulations to Sigma Squadron on jobs VERY well
done!!!"
* But that is not all. Some promotion recommendations have also been
cleared! This means that LT Haggis McMutton and LT Obi-Kan Kysiobi have been
promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and LCM Roger Duncan has been
promoted to the rank of Commander! My best congratulations, Pilots, you
surely deserved your promotions!
* Well, it also looks as I have been promoted to the rank of Major! What can
I say - it is mostly because of your skills and determination, as without
you Sigma wouldn't be such a great Squadron as it is now! This also means
that this evening in our Cantina should be very, very eventful - but with so
many reasons to celebrate...
* Some medals has also been awarded to Sigma Squadron's Pilots, but because
I'm waiting for one last improvement, an official ceremony will have to be
postponed for a few more days - hopefully you don't have anything against
awarding all of Pilots during one ceremony, do you?
* LCM Dawn has been chosen by Doc Sauron Tarrke - The Drunk Doctor - and
from now on is officially our Wing Nurse.
* The first pack of the changes in our-squadron image proposed by CPT
Todbringer has been inputted into our Squadron's Rooster. That means our
First Flight is now called Gladius, second - Pilum and third - Scutum. Our
motto has also changed to Vis et Honor, so please update your Id Lines
accordingly.
* Just a quick reminder - the pays system for use in our Cantina for buying
drinks invented by CM Artyis will most likely be introduced on 09.01.2000,
so if you have anything to add to the set of rules already presented in our
Cantina, say it when there is still some time left to change them.
Squadron Status:
* Wing II Tactical Attache Competition 1 segment 1 of 5 has been announced!
We have to fly 6 FREE TIE missions (#7, #15, #20, #22, #27 and #43), which
have been already send to you, till this Sunday. And this is not all,
because the ultimate goal of this Competition is to fly 30 missions in 30
days, so it is going to be one of the most demanding Competitions ever! So
to your Fighters, as we should also remember that next round of Squadrons'
League will be announced quite soon, too.

* No new rounds have been announced in TIE League, but since it is currently
in the Finals phase and no Sigma Pilot (due to, well, we all know what...)
qualified there, all future announcements regarding this event will not be
included in our Squadrons' Weekly Reports.
* Please remember that our Cantina is open to any Pilot or loyal Empire
Citizen, so if you know anyone who would like to join us feel free to invite
him (or her)! The signing process is a very simple one and requires only the
sending of a single e-mail to
replying to the confirmation message.
* Please remember, that the calendar at our Cantina homepage
