SQUADRON NEWS

-So many things happened this week, that I fear that I might forget some of them on this report.
-Imperial Storm III is near, it will start on the 22nd of April. All of you who like XWA multiplayer are called to fight for the Battlegroups on this comp.
-BGCOM retires: Unfortunately, Mell has decided to retire from his BGCOM position. Mell was an excellent BGCOM, he hosted the Highlander comp, and was once WC of our noble wing. Drake is now A-BGCOM.
-New Ghost CMDR: Ghost Squadron has a new CMDR, and I'm sorry to say that their new CMDR is none other than our very own COL Badlands. We say farewell to him, as he embarks on his new adventure... offcourse we can just go to the Cantina and slap him for leaving :P
-The High Court of Inquisitors has a new website at http://hci.mental-case.com
-Pilot promoted: As you all know, Mark was promoted to CPT last week. But this week we have another promotion. Congratulations to Commander Nuno! You'll pay for the drinks :)
-JK2 is hot! There are many ppl playing it on the EH. It must be worth it.
-Not only do we have Spearhawk on the FCHG Top 10 list of this wing, but we now also have Turbo on the Combat Ratings Top 10 :)
-Phantom Ace: Once again, Nuno tried to defeat Mark for the Ace title, but he failed again. Mark holds his title relentlessly. Here are the scores:

SQUADRON STATUS

-Our banner comp continues. So far I got 3 submissions from Spearhawk and 1 from Jari. Deimos and I hope to receive more before the 25th of April.
-The Emperor's Hammer has a new Highly Secret training area called the
"Junkyard". The Junkyard is a massive construction site hidden in an asteriod
field and designed to accomodate the recycling of metals for use by the
Emperor's Hammer. The rings form a giant, flexible conduit that adjust to the
changing distances between the asteriods. But those rings can also be used as a flying arena..exactly what we are going
to use them for. LCM Crsepe has been working hard to get this up and running. Only thing he

-WC Arso has launched an interesting challenge. From now on, anyone who flies 30 missions in one week will get an ISM, and anyone who flies 75 will get a PC. How hard can that be? :P
-The EH has founded the Imperial Technology Commission, and with it come two new comps, and anyone interested may participate. Here goes:
Imperial Technology Commission Banner Competition

For the newly created Imperial Technology Commission, a division that will
serve the EH with downloads of demos and some programs as well as reviews for
the EH's members.

The comp is to design a banner for the website, a normal banner (400x40
pixels). Try to have it reflect technology...

Imperial Technology Commission Site Layout Competition

In conjunction with the Imperial Technology Commission (ITC) Banner comp, a
new comp is being created to make the best design for the new ITC database.

You may make your site designs in HTML, Java, whichever you know how to do.
If it's in asp or php it would be even better!

Also, if you can put the layout onto a site to be viewed, it would be
excellent!

The winner's design will be used for the ITC database page.

A warning about using MS Word and older versions of Frontpage to create
websites: they add in large amounts of unnecessary tags, which slow down
loading times.
