NEWS

- Janich is in the middle of a 4 week leave of absence and should be returning before the end of the month.

- Darth Vader has retired from the EH. He is taking an extended trip through Europe and returning to his studies. We wish him well and hope to see him around the cantina as often as possible. Good luck DV!

- Two new members! CM Night Grue will be assuming the duties of FL/Flight III and CM Exar Khaland has taken the open 3-4 position. Welcome aboard guys! Drinks are on you :)

COMPETITIONS

- Our turn-out wasn't too stellar, but we managed to win against the Rat Pack.

- Omega Banner Competition: Tad is taking home a shiny new medal for winning. I only received two submissions.

- Sov Recruiting Comp: Create a recruiting campaign for the Sov. Details are on the website.
- Sov Cantina Drinking Song Comp: Write the best drinking song for the Sov Cantina. Submission due May 31st.

I would like to start up some squad vs. squad comps. But I have not seen enough activity around here to make me want to stick our necks out. Please remember everyone - there are activity requirements to be in this squadron. I expect to see something from a couple of you very soon or this will be your last month in the squad. No discussions.

FLYING

With the loss of DV our MP presence has been reduced. However, Autoris is doing a great job and has picked up a few LoCs. We can expect to see some MP flying from Janich upon his return and I've been known to show up every so often to get blown up. Those of you who have XvT or XWA should try to mix it up a bit. It really is fun!
